A dedicated photo app would seriously boost Proton’s appeal. With solid polish and performance, it could realistically pull users from iCloud and Google Photos.

I’d switch to Duo even now, but what’s missing is the refinement and smooth experience people expect from big tech products.

To be a real iCloud Photos alternative, the app should offer:
    - Easy migration from Apple/Google, including cloud-only photos
    - Preservation of album structure
    - Fast uploads/downloads and smooth browsing
    - Decent video loading times
    - Smart management tools (duplicates, cleanup suggestions)
    - Smart storage optimization, offloading older phots to cloud to save local storage like iCloud or Google Cloud does
    - Optional facial recognition, powered by Lumo?
    - Optional “Memories”-style albums, powered by Lumo?

Without that level of quality and usability, it’s hard to fully replace iCloud Photos.

    Hi,
Right now, Proton doesn’t allow using two “Plus” plans at the same time, for example, Mail Plus and Drive Plus on the same account. Because of that, it’s hard to use multiple services unless you pay for the Unlimited plan.

I think it would be better to have a simple three-tier system for each service:

    Free → Plus → Unlimited

Then, offer a bundle that gives “Plus” features for all Proton services at once. Something like Proton Essentials/Core/Basic/Flex bundle.

This would be great for users who don’t need Unlimited but still want more than the Free plan.

    Thanks for considering!

    Hello,
i noted that Proton's plans are too static and cannot be mixed. Currently it's impossible to get two "Plus" subscriptions at single account.

So can you introduce more flexible plans and allow mixing of Plus plans e.g. to allow having mail+pass or pass+vpn etc. depending on the user needs. In some cases, Unlimited plans are not required and could be too costly to overpay for the services ones are not using.

Ideally user could be paying 100% for the first "Plus" plan and reduced price e.g. 80% or 60% for another Plus plan at the same account as long as there is other valid subscription ;)
