Currently all three of these systems have feature parity; the gap is in terms of UI, and this is something that we have in our plans to close.

I suggest using the Signal protocol for Proton Chat.
Unlike Signal, ProtonChat could use their own servers rather than rely on AWS, and I think the ability to sign up to Proton without a phone number is a major plus and a major cost save since there are no SMS registration fees. -

I do not support this idea. I think the Tor Browser and Mullvad Browser do a great job already. A browser would add more work to a whole different thing than the main products. Rather than breath, Proton should focus on the depth of its products.
There still are countless "basic" features in Mail, Drive, and Calendar that could be implemented, and I think it makes more sense to put resources into them rather than making and maintaining a web browser and/or a search engine. -

I would prefer a $10 or €10 per year rather the a $1 or €1 per month plan actually. For those who can't afford $5 or €5 per month and want something more than free, we should survey what additional features are most popular to add to a lower tier than plus.

Life long plans make sense for something like a download, but Proton makes more sense as a subscription service since there are recurring maintenance costs for Proton. I would rather subscribe to Proton rather than have Proton go under or sell out due to an eventually unsustainable business model.

As per the Spring/Summer Roadmap, this is being developed: https://proton.me/blog/pass-roadmap-spring-summer-2026
Folders will be a significant building block for Proton Pass that will go beyond just helping you organize your items. Introducing folders will require some rethinking of our cryptography model, which we’re currently working on. Eventually, you’ll also be able to share folders and subfolders just like your vaults and individual items, giving you another flexible way to share access.
Folders will be available in the coming months. As well as creating vaults, you’ll be able to create dedicated folders and subfolders to organize crucial information for quick retrieval: you can organize by project, by team, by year, or whatever else you need.

I would appreciate:
1. Port Forwarding
2. WireGuard
3. Connection Profiles
on the Linux GUI app.
