    Partnering with (or providing an overlay for) one of the privacy focussed mapping/navigation apps (such as those mentioned in an upcoming update to privacyguides.net as seen here: https://pr2827.unreviewed.privacyguides.dev/en/maps/) might be a quicker and easier solution to this request, as creating a new mapping/navigation app is a huge undertaking, especially when Proton has many other priorities. Great idea though!
