Yep. I came here to make the *same* suggestion.
For the sake of security, the proposed FREE Admin account should be akin to a "control panel" rather than a fully functional user account. That is, the proposed FREE Admin account ("control panel") would provide only the features needed for (and so, could be used only for) administering the user accounts. As such, the "admin" would use a separate PAID "non-admin" account for all other tasks, such as sending/receiving email, etc.
A similar suggestion is found here: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/953584-proton-pass/suggestions/48548531
The above could also be implemented for "family" plans.

Others my disagree, but as far as I'm concerned, once Proton provides "official" flatplak support, Proton can begin the process of deprecating support for deb and rpm packages.
I'll add that, being an Ubuntu user on some (but not all) of my Linux setups, having "official" snap support would also be nice, but having "official" flatplak support is *much* more important to me.
Regarding official flatpak support, please see the suggestion found here: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/945460-general-ideas/suggestions/46955335

I'd be happy with an *official* flatpak and/or an *official* snap.

An *unofficial* flatpak is available: https://flathub.org/apps/com.protonvpn.www
But I'd much prefer an *official* flatpak.
Also, I'll just note that Surfshark offers *official* flatpak and *official* snap packages. But I'd prefer to support Proton.

Upvoted and marked as important to me.
Note to Proton: Related to above request, please *also* consider providing an option to manually sort (change order of) "pinned" items as described in the following suggestion: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/932836-proton-vpn/suggestions/49778759

Profiles can be set up to exclude your country on Windows and Android now, and a more fine-tuned whitelist/blacklist is going to be available during Spring & Summer 2025.

Agreed! Having the ability to create a profile that would connect to the FASTEST server in a specified CITY is needed.

Request: On the "Create Profile" page, add CITY names alongside each SERVER name that is listed on the server dropdown menu.
On the "Create Profile" page, the dropdown menu for selecting the server recites each server name. But the dropdown menu for selecting the server does NOT recite the CITY in which the city resides. Knowing in which CITY a particular server resides would be helpful when selecting a server for creating a profile.
I'll note that the CITY name information for each server is available on the the "Countries" tab. So adding the CITY name information alongside each SERVER name that is listed on the server dropdown menu shouldn't be that difficult to do.

I, too, "would be okay with the VPN app completely killing my bypassed connections as well, it wouldn't even have to be gracefully respecting those" as suggested by Jan.
And actually, shutting down *all* connections (including bypassed connections) would be a good way to alert a user regarding issues with tunneled connections.
