    I strongly disagree with this. I primarily use Photo Backup to store photos in Proton Drive and then to delete them from my phone to save storage space.

    If this gets implemented, I'd really hope it becomes optional as otherwise, for me at least, there is not much point in using this feature.

    I've recently been handling large amounts of files on Proton Drive and my main issue is that the upload and download speeds are really bad. I have average internet speed and I still cannot get files uploaded/downloaded properly without having to wait a huge amount of time.

    This hasn't been my experience with similar cloud providers and it is really annoying. I understand that Proton uses strong encryption and that's probably why upload/download speeds are bad but it is also not good if a 10 GB takes 8 hours or something to download.

    If any improvements can be made to this, I'd really appreciate it. I will still continue using Proton either way, but it would make my life much more easy.
