    Contrary to what Privacy101 is stating, it is possible to display today's date on the IOS app. The icon itself does not change but the badge placement could be used to present different type of information.
    Before switching to Proton Calendar, I was using Calendars by Readdle on my iPhone. The Calendars IOS app had no issue displaying today's date. I re-installed the Calendars IOS app just to confirm what I am typing in this post. The Readdle Calendars app has a "Badge" setting where you can select these items in Display Options -> Badge Icon
    - No Badge
    - All Events For Today
    - All Tasks For Day
    - All Events And Tasks For Day
    - Current Day
    - New Event Invitations
    - Week Number

    I used the "Current Day" to show today's date on the Calendars icon.
    I now use Proton Calendars under the Proton DUO so that my wife and I can share Proton calendars. However, we both agree that Proton Calendar lags far behind Readdle Calendars in term of UI finesse and app features. Hopefully, Proton Calendar will mature with time and catch up with the leading calendar apps.

    I just switched from Proton Plus to Proton Duo so that my wife and I count start using addresses from the custom domain added to my Proton account ... WTF ... she cannot even see "Domains" in All Settings neither the addresses I created in my account. So much for a DUO synergy between the accounts :-(

    Edit after my original post: I learned that under my admin account, I can edit my wife's account and add addresses from my custom domain. She is able to see those new addresses but they do not appear under my account which in a way makes sense (you do not want the same email to appear in the Inbox of two different accounts.

    The default notification sound of the Proton Mail app definitely does not get my attention since it is the same sound as all the other IOS apps using notification.
    I need to be able to have a distinct sound for Proton mail,
