@jamworksllc@protonmail.com \what you asked is a keyfile, not a hardware key as in the request.
E.g. KeePass can use a keyfile (which can be any file, preferably on a USB stick to make is a semi-hardware key that can be put away when not in use) and a hardware key (e.g. YubiKey) to unlock the password database. If one of the two is missing then you can't open the password database.
This basically creates two physical items required to be present to be able to log in.
For me this would be an even better option to protect logins when being on a remote location than only a security/hardware keyIt is already possible to use a YubiKey to fill out a password field if set to the proper method so that tapping the key will insert a (very) long password of random characters. This works in almost every application/webpage.

Wouldn't SImpleLogin take care of this?
Yes, being able to manage it in Proton Mail would be more convenient but I like the flexibility of SimpleLogin where you can forward to multiple mailboxes, which Proton Pass doesn't seem to be able to do. -

Another +1 for this request. Using Google for contacts is convenient for syncing them across Android devices but this does not really work well when on a desktop/laptop computer. Having the info of other people on Google is not really compliant with some privacy laws when push come to shove.
Having a Proton Contacts app that can be accessed by the phone and/or VoIP phone would improve privacy/data security.

Yes Roboform got this right. Unfortunately it is an American company so I cannot use it for work purposes due to very strict data protection requirements. This is where Proton Pass (and KeePass) come into the picture.
So it would be really useful if Proton would be "inspired" by the functionalities of some of the competitor to implement this functionality.

For a privacy and security oriented organisation like Proton it basically baffles me that you have to use your account's master password for logging in into everything.
Having an independent password like 1Password as mentioned before would be better as that would not potentially compromise your account.
(I use 1Password for storing the Proton account credentials because the password is nearly impossible to remember unless one has a photographic memory, but even then typing it out would be a hassle.)
so +100 for this request, and it should be implemented into all Proton apps, not just Proton Pass.

Depending on the password, human readable/memorable or long with random characters, a password showing up as compromised does not necessary mean your own related account was compromised. Someone else may have the same password, but not the same e-mail address (assuming one is not sharing an e-mail address with other people).
Unless it has been used at a company/organisation of which you know it has been hacked. In that case the login credentials need to be updated anyway just to be sure.
So I am not sure if this should be top priority, at least not until some useful things that have more impact on usability have been implemented, but that is just my opinion.

1Password has the option to choose between updating an existing password entry or to create a new entry.
Having the same in Proton Pass would basically solve this issue.

Another +1 for folders and tags/labels so that password search will be limited to that folder or group when selected.
Now I have to resort to creating multiple vaults as a workaround, but that does not really solve the issue of separating personal/work/volunteer/.... 2FA's and passwords if Proton Pass is used for 2FA's.

"I strongly support this feature request. Exposing the primary Proton email address in shared Proton Drive links is a real privacy gap, especially for users who rely heavily on aliases to compartmentalize work, personal life, or anonymous activity."
^^ This is probably the main reason why it should have been implemented from the start. Exposing one's primary account needed to log in to Proton services should have been a no-go solution from day one if protecting privacy/ID is a founding argument for Proton.
