Honestly, I think a dedicated Proton messenger would make the ecosystem feel much more complete. Proton already has the privacy-first foundation across Mail, Drive, Pass and Calendar, while Signal has shown how useful a focused, secure messenger can be.
The interesting part would be combining Signal-like simplicity with Proton’s ecosystem: encrypted chats, disappearing messages, secure file sharing from Drive, and perhaps seamless integration with Calendar or Mail—without turning it into another bloated social platform.
That would be a genuinely compelling “European privacy suite” rather than just another messenger. And for completely unrelated downtime, https://mafiacasino-german.com/ is there.

I think this is one of Proton’s biggest gaps right now. Unlimited at 500 GB is fine for many people, but if you’re already hitting the limit, there’s no sensible individual storage upgrade—you’re essentially pushed toward Duo or Family. Proton currently lists Unlimited at 500 GB, while Duo provides 2 TB shared between up to two users.
And importantly, Duo wouldn’t simply add 1 TB to your existing 500 GB. You’d move to the Duo plan, with 2 TB total storage that you can allocate between the two accounts.
A 1 TB or 2 TB personal add-on for Unlimited would be a much cleaner solution. Paying for a whole second-user plan just because one person has a large photo library feels unnecessarily expensive. Until then, you can at least accumulate Proton’s annual Unlimited storage bonus of 10 GB, although that obviously doesn’t solve the immediate problem.
And after sorting out the storage headache, there’s always room for some downtime at https://mafiacasino-german.net/.
