How can we improve our accounts settings, payments or plans?

  1. Adding XHV (The Haven Protocol) cryptocurrency as a payment method

    The Haven Protocol is a 100% privacy-focused cryptocurrency.

    Alongside it's private native token (XHV), the Haven Protocol have created the world's first private stablecoin, xUSD.

    On 12th April, 4 more 'xAssets' will be released: xEUR, xCNY, xGOLD and xSILVER.

    Switching from XHV to any of the listed xAssets is done within the unbroken privacy of your vault (wallet) and can be transacted between one another and elsewhere.

    This will allow privacy-focused crypto users to subscribe to/renew their Protonmail subscriptions in a variety of 100% private currencies.

  2. Crypto payment method besides Bitcoin

    Bitcoin and ethereum have way too high of transaction fees for them to be a good method of payment. I ask that you accept a crypto currency that has cheaper transaction fees. My bitcoin transaction fee costed me ~$14. Litecoin, Monero, Binance Smart chain. Anything with reasonable transaction fees please.

  3. A deferit option for late payments

    who know's, there might be an occasion where someone looses access to their accounts and their only method to regain access and secure them is through a Protonmail set-up, they likely would have set up a paid account, however under severe cyber attacks they may not be able to access there usual avenues to pay their arranged debts, therefore a deferit option provides not only the option to show goodwill that you are going to make the payment, but also a safety net and sometime to regain access and secure what needs to be.

  4. New Payment Plan

    i'd suggest addding a single payment option to your upgrade plan options...as in a one time payment either without automatic renewal or having the option as opt-in instead of having upgraded users having auto-renewal enabled by defualt

    can proton team consider crypto Stellar Lumens (XLM) for alternate payment subscription, our community prefer use stellar for crypto because its simple, fast and low-fee

    You should add additional crypto payment methods for protonmail plus

    Example of coins which have a low fee and a good anonymity level:

  8. Accept Bitcoin SV as payment option. Also consider building own services on this blockchain network.

    There is in my assessment overwhelming evidence to suggest that both in terms of closeness to the original whitepaper released by Satoshi Nakamoto, but also by verifiable functionality that Bitcoin Satoshi Vision (BSV) is in fact the genuine Bitcoin closest to that original vision. There is also, again I can only say in my assessment, serious merit to the claim that the main driver behind this project, Craig Wright, is indeed Satoshi Nakamoto and therefore the primary inventor of this technology.   9. Protonmail Vs Payment "PAYPAL" Registration

    Can I register PayPal using a protonmail account?

    During this time I used a Google account to register PayPal.

    Now there have been many websites and applications that offer ways to get paid via the internet / online and recommend withdrawal of funds using a PayPal account.

    At the moment I still get a little information about the flexibility of this Protonmail account for online payment registration (Paypal, Payeer, Uphold, and others).

  10. Accept PayU or Przelewy24 as a payment method

    In Poland PayU and Przelewy24 are two most common options to pay over the internet. Adding support for them would make it much easier for Poles to support Protonmail financially.

  11. Better payment methods

    Please introduce some fast currency like e.g. Dash (works even with 0 confirmations thanks to InstandSend feature) for payments.
    Litecoin would be also OK.
    So it means that cryptocurrency, which is destinated to be a currency, not tokens for other purposes.

    Lightning network is a great solution, too!

  13. Onetime payment Visionary Account, financed by interest on a one-off payment

    I would like to suggest offering an account financed by a one-off payment.

    What does this mean for Proton Mail/VPN:
    * replacing some not paying user by never ending paying user
    * replacing some only some years paying user by never ending paying user
    * The customer pays a one-time amount
    * Proton invests the amount in such a way that it permanently generates the otherwise usual monthly or annual payments.
    * Proton not only opens up additional customer potential, it actually secures the customer permanently and not just for e.g. one or two years.

    I'm sure some people prefer to have a subscription under Google Play and use Google play credit as payment method. But it's not available even though Apple has it.

  15. Please add UPI payment option for india

    Iam from india. My two debit card was not supported for payment so i could not continue my basic membership. UPI payment option is simple and everyone in india uses it. So adding UPI will be very helpfull.

  17. payment options are limited, need to add INR for payments as well

    i was looking for a more secured email , and i found the proton email is the best in the biz. But when i was trying to pay for the service, it is only offering me to pay in USD, i live in India , and i dont have access to USD payments . Please try adding other modes of payment for indian users.

    You allow for tips and monthly contributions with the Brave browser's Basic Attention Tokens, so would it be possible to actually pay for services with BATs?. It might not yet be technically possible, but just wondering.
