   I would like to request support for Fastmail/Migadu-style catch-all aliases in Proton/SimpleLogin, where any email sent to *@*.example.com—including all subdomains of a custom domain—is automatically delivered to my main mailbox (e.g., example@example.com).    As a Proton Visionary user, I would greatly appreciate having access to the Activity Monitoring feature within this plan. This would allow me to track how my account is being used, see important changes that have been made, and respond quickly if any unwanted activities occur.

   Including this feature in Visionary would be a valuable addition, since the plan promises the maximum limits and features available. Currently, users who rely on Activity Monitoring have to switch to a professional-tier plan—despite it offering fewer overall benefits compared to Visionary—just to get this single function.

   By integrating Activity Monitoring into Visionary, advanced users could better secure their accounts and efficiently control how their subscription is utilized. This enhancement would make the Visionary plan even more attractive, especially for security-focused customers.

5. Allow for an upgrade path in Google Play......

   I am stuck after buying a Pass Plus subscription. No upgrade path in Google Play, no way out, no support. Contacted both Proton support and Google support. No help from either ends. Only 2 options are:
   1. Wait until my subscription expires NEXT YEAR in September PLUS another 60 day grace period they have to keep themselves linked to you as long as possible. And there's no guarantee they will even unlink themselves after waiting for OVER A YEAR! These are just fairytales.
   2. Make a new account and subscribe online and pay full price and lose my current domain.

   So now I cannot buy any other service with this Proton account. I haven't seen such lack of disregard in my life. It's like you don't want to make money.

6. Easier Management of Multiple Proton Accounts (with Admin/Billing Role)

   As a small business owner, I often manage multiple Proton accounts – for example, one for personal use and others for different projects or clients. While Proton is already a great tool, handling multiple accounts could be made a lot more convenient.

   What would help:

   The ability to link and switch between multiple Proton accounts within the same interface, without constantly logging in and out.

   An option to set different billing addresses and email contacts per account. This would be especially useful when managing subscriptions for multiple businesses or teams.

   A centralized view where I can see all active subscriptions across accounts at a glance.

   A dedicated admin/billing role, where an administrator can manage payments and invoices without the end users seeing this role. This would be particularly useful in reseller scenarios, where clients only use the product while the reseller handles all financial administration in the background.

   This would make Proton far more practical for users like me who want to bring several domains and teams over to Proton but currently face extra complexity in managing them separately.

7. Have a sales team that actually answers your requests

   On 2 occasions I reached out about our interest for migrating to Proton for business, both times I got an answer telling me how excited you were to help us and asking for more information. I answered twice and never got any answer. Is it because we are too small of a company?
   This is very disappointing, we were very interested by your solutions, but I guess we will have to find a different approach to better secure our information...

8. Pay per GB

   Pay for EXACTLY the storage that you used in a month, instead of having to bump plans with *** GB increments - and serious price increases.

   Proton uses limits to extract maximum consumer surplus and force new plans on people, when all they want is just more storage. This is just like commercial companies, and leaves a bad taste.

   The better approach is to align consumer value and producer cost : pay for what you use, with a standard cost-plus premium. It's not how you make the most money, agreed - but it is how you build a loyal user base.

   This can the max usage hit per month, but it would be nicer if it was calculated per day, invoiced per month. With post-pay you never have to worry about running out of storage. Another option would be standard (smaller) increments, reserved up front (pre-pay).

9. Take Advantage of Bitwarden Increasing Prices to Provide a Pass Plus Combo

   I'm a Proton Mail Plus user. I currently use Bitwarden Premium as my password manager. I recently got an email from Bitwarden informing me that they are going to double their price. My subscription there renews in March, so I thought this would be the best time to switch to Proton Pass. However, the features I need are only available on the Pass Plus plan.

   What did I try? To subscribe to Pass Plus in addition to my current Mail Plus plan. But it isn't allowed! It's either one Plus subscription OR the Unlimited plan.

   The Unlimited plan would be more expensive for me than continuing with Mail Plus + and Bitwarden Premium, even at their increased price. Especially because, for the first year, they'll charge current Bitwarden users a "mere" 50% more (advertised as a "25% discount" over the higher price). That being the case, you are definitely going to miss the opportunity to bring me into a higher-paying grade.

   My suggestion then, which I know is repeating aspects of other suggestions here but it is worth it for the specific opportunity, is for Proton to capture a good chunk of Bitwarden Premium users who are, like me, unhappy with their 50% to 100% price increase, by allowing combining specifically Mail Plus with Pass Plus, the Pass Plus part being promotionally less than Bitwarden's increased price when combined this way.

   I cannot say for sure, but such a plan would put me much closer to the threshold for Unlimited, and I might upgrade to that in a year or two as I get more used to Proton's ecosystem. Right now, however, Unlimited is definitely beyond my budget.

   Hope you decide to do this, and ideally before I'm forced to renew my Bitwarden Premium subscription!

    I really find it a shame to pay €4.99 to create files in order to keep my mailbox tidy. A classic user like me does not use other functions than those of a classic mailbox, so I think we should review the offer for basic accounts by integrating the creation of folders for free. 13. App-based MFA

    I like the way that Discord, Steam, Github, Apple, etc do their logins, which is by a phone app that prompts you with a notification and you have to enter the code that it says on the computer. This would be a really convenient way to log into Proton rather than having to use your phone for 2FA. Some of the apps I mentioned also do a qr code thing to log in which is super convenient as well.

14. Show the Proton account creation date in the settings

    To mark the 10 years anniversary of Proton, many look back at when their accounts were created. Showing a simple "Account created on ...." on the Dashboard or Account section of the settings would be nice to keep the date in mind. Also that helps knowing when anniversary storage drops will fall! :D

    I think there are ways to make it worthwhile to fund permanent chats for free users. This is a major pain point because most people want their chat history to be permanent.

    My ideas:

    Personalize Lumo’s appearance. Some users form a bond with the AI they use, and Lumo is one of the few assistants that actually has a visual persona. Proton could turn this into a Lumo + feature, allowing users to change Lumo’s colour, add a collar, or dress it in outfits.

    Redo‑reply option. Not many users need this frequently, so it could be a premium‑only feature, or free users could receive 1–3 free redos per month.

    Conversation mode (voice‑to‑voice). While other AIs already offer it, it isn’t essential for Lumo, but adding it as a Lumo + perk would make the subscription more attractive.

    More interactive elements. Enable users to pet Lumo, play with it (e.g., a laser‑pointer mode), or otherwise interact with the avatar. Such playful interactions would differentiate Lumo and could justify an additional fee.

16. Allow adding payment methods for users with Apple subscriptions

    Issue:
    Users that have an active subscription through Apple's App Store cannot add payment method in Proton Mail settings. When they click on "Add credit / debit card" they are greeted with the "Manage your subscription on Apple App Store" popup.

    While I understand why it wouldn't make much sense to have a payment method on an account that has their subscription managed by a 3rd party, I've encountered an edge case that I think would be beneficial to the <1% of users like me.

    I've cancelled my Proton subscription through my Apple Account. Now, since the Proton mail settings don't allow me to add a payment method, I need to wait for my subscription to expire, then add a payment method to Proton, then pick a subscription.

    I just think this would be beneficial to implement, don't see any issues with adding a payment method since the user can be notified that the payment method is inactive or will not be used as long as they have a 3rd party controlled subscription. But any additional purchases or activations through Proton can still be completed with the added payment method.

19. Allow password reset without losing all data

    Allow users to configure if they want data to be encrypted in case of a password reset.

    My data is not highly confidential or interesing to others. For me the risk of losing everything after a password reset is much higher than being compromised.

    So it would be great to be able to turn off the invalidation of the encryption keys in the event of a password reset.

    I have been a bit disappointed with Proton. It seemed to be perfect for me, and I thought the lowest paid subscription would cover all that I needed. I read carefully what was offered, but I soon discovered, one at a time, that I had to up the ante, so I ended up having to pay double what I had expected. That was reluctantly accepted, only for me to discover,which is not clearly stated as far as I can tell, that there is no app for Linux on Proton Drive. That is nearly a deal-breaker for me, and it seems a good many others have met the same disappointment.
