Proton Browser
Proton browser would be one of the more safer browsers, with a built in VPN, proton pass, proton mail and pretty much every proton app embedded in it. I'm not sure how many people would like this idea but it seems really cool. I'd also like this browser to work on Linux. This browser could implement a real time "advice" feature. Proton Sheet - Automatic Average/Count/Sum
Proton sheet lacks an ease-of-life feature that Excel has.
Excel calculates and displays AVERAGE/COUNT/SUM, at the bottom right of the program, when you select multiple cells containing numbers.
This helps tremendously as the user doesn't have to type the formulas to get them, it is instantaneous.
Hence, following user story :
As a proton sheet user, I want AVERAGE/COUNT/SUM to be automatically calculated and displayed when I select cells containing numbers, in order not to have to set these formulas myself.Thanks !

Proton Keyboard
When I was using Gboard in the android the Auto fill feature was working quite efficient . But now when I turn to other keyboard i.e, simple keyboard and fossify keyboard things have been changed I have to copy paste copy paste copy paste and I am very irritated by this.
Why don't proton make a virtual keyboard for resolving keyboard?

Turn Proton Unlimited back to Unlimited
I have begun to see that Proton Unlimited is not unlimited anymore for example Proton Meet/Lumo have no benefits included for Unlimited subscribers even Proton AI Email generator has no limited use for Unlimited but only a free trial.

Make Lumo Grown Up
Lumo suffers from the same issue as other AI agents (possibly excepting Claude) in that it restricts answers and suggestions to those compatible with traditional ethics and morals. I write screenplays and bouncing ideas off AI is par for the course: when I talk about terrorism, explosions, suicide and so on with Claude it's happy to help; GPT gives me loads of warnings (ffs) but Lumo outright refuses to answer!

Create Proton Notes – A Privacy-First End-to-End Encrypted Note-Taking App
I would love to see Proton create Proton Notes, a privacy-focused note-taking app with end-to-end encryption (E2EE).
Today, many people use Notion because it syncs seamlessly across phones, laptops, and the web. However, it is not end-to-end encrypted, so I don't feel comfortable storing personal or sensitive notes there.
Obsidian is another excellent option because notes are stored locally and users have full control over their data. However, using it across multiple devices can be complicated, and without syncing, notes on one device are not automatically available on another.

I would like to be able to link together mails and events so It's easier to find them later on.

Proton Ticket Wallet
Proton Wallet (name should be different to the crypto thing ;)) should provide a way to store digital event tickets I receive via mail or upload as a file. This could be a replacement option for apple wallet.

Allow photo album sharing via link on Proton Drive
Currently, it's not possible to share a photo album via link, although it is possible with files.
This is quite disappointing, especially since my main use of the drive is to share photos with my family, and sharing via email is cumbersome and unintuitive for the elderly who will receive the invitation.125 votes -

It's already May 2026, and 2027 is just 7 months away. The quantum computing threat is no longer a future concern — it's becoming a present reality. Current E2EE, while strong today, will not hold up against quantum attacks.
Proton has always been ahead of the curve when it comes to privacy. Upgrading to Quantum-Safe Encryption (Post-Quantum Cryptography) across all Proton products — Mail, Drive, Calendar, VPN, and Pass — before the end of 2026 would be a massive step forward.

Provide a roadmap and show status of popular suggestions
Is there a roadmap for what's on the horizon for Proton product offerings and features to existing products? My general impression is (and it may be wrong) that Proton is not responsive to user suggestions in a timely fashion and hence the same suggestions get suggested for years with no insight provided as to the status of those. E.g., if a To Do app is known to not be offered by Proton in the next year, just say so and then users can stop wishing for that and move on.

I would like to propose a built-in translation feature directly inside Proton Mail. This would significantly improve usability, especially for international users.
Current problem:

It would be great if proton provided a standalone Address Book app; especially on iOS.

Lumo should keep working on response even if I leave the app.
If I submit a prompt to Lumo and my phone goes to sleep waiting for the prompt to finish or if I tab out for a few minutes and come back, the finished response should be waiting for me when I return.
