As long as calendar stay in its own bubble, it will be a pain to use it.
Almost nothing can interact with it, there is so many standards for communication, yet none of them can even be setup as you can't even run a local script to push anything to it : Security and privacy is good, but if user have no choice, and can't do anything with the app what's the point ? If in my treat model, having a local app on my phone push events on proton calendar's app is fine, why wouldn't it be ? Or offer actual solutions. As proton should be maturing it's app this year, it is time to actually take care of all of them, including calendar

This is part of the autofill improvement, which is ongoing, this was highlighted in the recent Roadmap: https://proton.me/blog/pass-roadmap-spring-summer-2026
We should have a significant enhancement via iframe coming soon.

Currently all three of these systems have feature parity; the gap is in terms of UI, and this is something that we have in our plans to close.

A big project supporting Unified Push would be nice and a big step forward for android without keeping everything going through google (Also helping for degoogling)
