I've been a Notesnook user for the past year, and I absolutely love it.
I don't know much about Standard Notes, other than the free tier being basically useless and the paid tier being WAY too expensive to bother with.
Notesnook, on the other hand, would be a FABULOUS addition to the Proton ecosystem. I would LOVE to see a collaboration between the two.

A notes app would be a vary valuable addition to the Proton ecosystem, and I would certainly utilise it on a daily basis.
My problem with Standard Notes is that the free tier is too limited to get a good read on the usability of the application, and the paid tier is too expensive, so I have no idea if it is a good note taking application or not.
I'm currently using Notesnook, which is a fabulous note taking application in its own right, and very privacy focused. In my opinion it would make a perfect addition to the Proton ecosystem. But, if Standard Notes is the way they have chosen to go, then I will wait for full integration so that I can give it a try.

I would rather see Standard Notes fully integrated into the Proton ecosystem as Proton Notes. I would want it as a separate app rather than a feature in Proton Pass.

I have been a Proton user for over a year now, and I'm very happy with their services overall. I use Proton Mail, Proton Calendar, and Proton Pass every single day, and they're great! However, without a Linux client for Proton Drive, this feature is largely useless, and I would absolutely love to be using it.
For those who are also struggling with this, pCloud has a free tier, and integrates with Linux Mint just fine. I'm using this as a temporary (hopefully) work-around until Proton Drive is available on Linux. The storage offered on the free tier is limited, but at least I have a place to back up my important documents.
