As mentioned in the previous update on this feature, it is now being edited to be a request for slides.
Please feel free to undo your vote if this is not something you want included in Proton Drive.

I started deGoogling my life, by moving from Samsung Android to Graphene on a Pixel phone (for better privacy, security, encryption, etc...).
Funny to find out that Proton Mail depends on Google Play Services for email notifications (???), which are not installed by default on Graphene.
This goes against what Proton advocates, deGoogling, no big tech, etc....
Would be very nice, I would say very important for Proton apps to stop depending on Google Play Services.
Many options are out there, for example:
https://unifiedpush.org
For now, I'm using a small app called "You Have Mail" (available on F-droid) to check my email and receive notifications, not the best solution, because I have to give my credentials to a 3rd party, but it works for now.
Thanks,
Carlos
