Proton needs to handle photos the same way Dropbox does - Dropbox will auto-upload photos from my phone to a special "Photos" folder, but the photos folder is just that---just a folder; I can easily move photos in and out of that folder, same as any other files to and from any other folders. The fact that my phone can upload photos to Proton, but there is no way to even see them on my computer (I'm on Windows, but I think it's the same for other OSs) without going to the full website is such an odd restriction and I really don't understand why it is done this way. Until that changes, Proton Drive is of limited use to me.

I can't leave Dropbox and move fully over to Proton until photos that are auto-uploaded from my phone are accessible on my Proton Windows client. Paying for both Proton Drive AND Dropbox doesn't feel sustainable...

I would like reminders as part of the calendar app, but I would like to be able to easily hide them. Being able to overlay them on the calendar can be useful, but can also just add noise, so being able to switch views easily is important.

Yes! I want the option to set a specific calendar event as a typical, simple notification or a continuous alarm that goes off until I acknowledge it. Some events are low priority and can get the single notification, but others are critical and I don't want the phone to stop alertung until I press a button. The button is either an acknowledgement that ends the event or "snooze" which will have it do the same thing in x minutes.

If Proton charges $10 for a service and then gives $3 of that away, then the message is that they only need to charge $7 for the service and they can still make all the money they need to continue to grow the business. What they are doing by over charging is forcing me to pay $3 to whatever cause they choose. Personally, I'm happy to contribute my $3 to several of the same causes that Proton chooses, but I'd like that to be my choice and not a forced contribution. Yes, it *is* my choice to use the platform or not, but I would like the option to pay for just the service and then donate my own funds to the causes I choose at the time and amount of my choice.

Direct Synology to Proton would be ideal (and amazing!), but I would be satisfied with mapping Synology as a network drive on a different computer on the network and having that sync with Proton. I used to be able to do this, but then that capability inexplicably disappeared.

I don't need a dedicated photos app, but doing this would fix my biggest problem with PD, which is that I cannot access my photos from my Windows PD client. I'm open to other ways of addressing that, but this would work, as well.
