Custom swipe gestures
While the options now are hardcoded to "Trash" or "Archive" an email, if swiped from the left or right respectively, the power for the user to choose from the myriad of existing features should be offered at a custom level.
I would like to "Mark As Unread" for example, this feature presently exists and thus should be a selectable option if it fits my workflow better.

It would be nice to be able to configure the swipe options for left and right to any of my folders that I choose. Right now, the option to "move to folder..." is not available as a swipe left or right option.
I should be able to swipe left, for example, and be able to pick from a list trash spam or other, or at least be able to fix my left or right swipe options to a folder of my choice.

It would be great to be able to customize swipe actions to any of the possible actions, like forward to, reply to, reply to all, etc.

Perplexed why this gesture is omitted from the IOS version, it is available in the Android app! Why would the Devs include 'mark as unread' but 'not mark as read', bizarre?

This would seriously improve my day-to-day workflow for managing emails.

Yes! I wanted to suggest this as well. I don't want to delete emails when in the Inbox when swiping them to the left. I want them to move them to the Archive. And only in the Archive, I want to delete them by swiping left.

Fully customizable swipe actions: Set custom actions for left and right swipe or broadening the possibilities even more by distinguishing between partial and full swipe, giving the user 4 actions instead of just 2. On Mobile and if possible also in the browser client. The mail client Spark (as horrible as their privacy policy might be, but their swiping game is awesome) is the only client/app I know that has this feature implemented and it is an absolut blessing for the UX.

Shockingly, the I can do anything except mark-as-read by swiping. This is one my most-used gestures in Mail. Please add.

Would be nice to have the "move to" option added to the swipe gesture feature, or, in my case to be changed with the "archive"

Yes please! I never use Spam or Trash. Archive would be useful and Snooze

Hello,
You can bind a couple different actions to the Swipe Left and Right gestures in the phone app, but the one I really miss is the ability to mark an email Unread.
Thanks.

Hey there, guys!
I noticed that the mobile app has a gesture feature for marking messages as read (and it allows the user to chose between "left" and right") -- that's really useful.
On the other hand, it does not deliver a feature that I personally miss: a gesture to ---> mark messages as ***unread*** <---.
Is it possible for you to implement it? I'd reason that it's just about adding a new category and changing the tag to "unread" instead of "read".
Thank you.

Please enable an option to turn off or disable left and right swipe gestures. I turn this off personally on all my previous email apps.

In Spark email client, e.g., you can customize long and short swipe gestures for both left and right directions, for a total of 4 customizable actions. E.g., on my Spark client, I have: Right-short = archive, Right-long = delete, Left-short = pin/star, Left-long = move to folder...

Spark also has good swipes. Long and short, left and right, altogether 4 functions supported. Also allow archiving together with read (not just archive and stay unread), and the ability to move mail to a specific folder with a simple swipe

Users could define their own a set of actions with the same grammar as filters.
In the GUI, when dragging a message, the set of defined actions could be dynamically displayed (eg; circles with different colors and a name inside) and then dropping the message on one of those circles applies the action on the message.
Short answers could be handled in this way too.

CloudMagic does this better.. swiping left gives the user 3 options: Trash, Archive, Reply.

In the mobile app, I would like to see the swipe feature to include a reply option.
