Trash messages need to be separate from Inbox messages
Messages sent to the Trash should not reappear in my Inbox when I receive a new email from the same chain.
Currently, if I receive a new message from the same chain as an email I already trashed, the trashed messages reappears in my Inbox. Messages I have trashed should never reappear in my Inbox.

I would prefer the chain did not contain deleted emails. I would also like to be able to set the 'Deleted' folder to auto clean up after a desired period of time (days/hours etc).

On the other hand, I just had a case where a new email on a trashed conversation did not show at all in the Inbox, I had to go to "Bin" to read it.

In addition, if trashed messages earlier in the chain were labelled, those labels show up on the new message in the inbox, which makes it look as though the new message is labelled when it is not.

Okay, I have to agree with this but also would love to expand on it. This not only shows you a message count for ALL messages in the chain regardless of where they are, but when viewing the message, ALL of the message headers are shown as well.
When I am working on a message chain that has 20-30 emails, when I open the message, I have to scroll down all those headers before I can get to the message.
If a message has been Deleted, Archives or Moved to a folder, it should NOT show yup as part of the chain. No other Email Client that I use (web or app) treats mail like this and it is, to me, the most annoying thing about Protonmail.
