Send email from other email addresses
One of the reasons keeping me from moving all my email traffic to ProtonMail is the inability to reply with an email address registered elsewhere.

Due to my work, I need the ability to send and receive email from both my work email and my personal email. Gmail has integrated this ability, which is the only thing stopping me from switching from Gmail to Protonmail completely.

Fantastic that I can now import my emails to ProtonMail however, please can you add the functionality to be able to send from other email clients?

Send emails from a different (non-ProtonMail) address but managed by ProtonMail.
Google does this: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/22370?hl=en.

Wouldn't that be a paradox? Think about it.

This is a feature (albeit somewhat deprecated) in Gmail, and it's also important for anyone with a third-level .name domain to be able to use their email address appropriately.

Our firm uses GMAIL as a hosting client for all email domains among our various companies and enterprises. We would love to replace this Proton mail but need 3 features:
1. Send As feature to send owned domain email (even possibly hosted on other servers) from the Proton client.
2. Pull email - use Proton Mail client to amalgamate ALL email addresses (even non-Proton emails) for up to 10 accounts per user.
3. Unique (and separate) Signature associated for EACH non-Proton (or main proton email) account when using the SEND AS feature.
