"Sent with ProtonMail Secure Email."
Please allow us to turn off the Proton signature in free accounts. It forces users to upgrade to a paid account just to eliminate the signature..This is unfortunate and detracts from an otherwise good email service.

For a paid account, you might find it here:

Identity and addresses
Display name and signature

Please allow users to remove "Sent with ProtonMail Secure Email". It's cheap advertising & annoying. It takes up space, word of mouth is best advertising you'll ever find. Which you'll get if you listen to customers who'd like the option for removal! Thank you.

Just FYI to everyone in the comments, this can be disabled on premium accounts:
Settings>Account>ProtonMail Signature(below the custom signature field)There is a toggle switch. Give it a click and you are good to go.

FYI, I'd pay more to disable this (maybe offer a "discount" to those who keep it). It's just not professional to force this on paying businesses.

Definitely don't like this. I can understand having it for the free version but I'm paying money and ProtonMail is branding my emails. Not cool.

Recently the site was modified to add 'Sent with ProtonMail Secure Email' to the signature, which means I have to remove it each time I send an email. I can see why protonmail would charge users for specific features that cost more money to implement, but why charge me to remove something that costs absolutely nothing extra? I already donated during the beta and have absolutely no need for a paid plan other than to get rid of this, so why pester me?
