Support Email From .Name Third-Level Domain Email Addresses
The .name TLD offers third-level domains with an email forwarding at the second-level domain.
For example:
If you bought ed.snowden.name from a registrar that supported third-level .name email forwarding, and wanted to send it to your work email ed.snowy@nsa.gov, you could setup ed@snowden.name to forward to ed.snowy@nsa.gov without owning the second-level domain.
This is a service (albeit deprecated) that gmail provides for its users who set it up previously. Generally, Gmail required the email address to be validated.
Adding this feature would greatly appeal to the niche .name email address users. Adding similar functionality may also appeal to people who wish to consolidate their email from other services as well.
