I think a KaiOS app would be great for all the reasons stated by the other commentors.

I agree with anonymous: Because KaiOS is a prominent phone OS in emerging markets it needs a safe email option.
I Think that encrypted mail is a must in territories where human rights are more a struggle.

This is the only app I need on my phone.

I can see a lot of people who are interested in more privacy orientated email also being interested in more privacy orientated devices

Hi, adding a comment on top, I recently switched to a nokia flip phone and would love to see ProtonMail there as currently I had to say bye to my emails. Please ProtonMail devs =) release it on KaiOS ! Thanks !

Therefore Protonmail is needed to secure the communication for the people. Also for the "downscalers" and the people that want less apple and google in there lives in the west.

Yes please, it’d be great to have a ProtonMail app running on KaiOS!
I am also looking to downgrade from my iPhone to the newly released Nokia 800 Tough and the one thing i’d only miss is not having a ProtonMail app!

I do agree with @x.v. I believe KaiOS can be seen as the protonmail OS as there are not much alternativ unfortunately. Both IOS and Android are spying everyhing and I believe KaiOS is doing a better job regarding privacy (please correct me if I am wrong).
Not having protonmail app (and to some extent protonVPN) is the only thing I miss from my former smartphone.

Having a CAT B35, and being a protomail user, I would also be very happy with such an app!
Besides that, I believe that people who reject the "smart-ass-ness" of devices (and all this give-me-your-data culture), will return to more basic devices. So with Kai OS being the "emerging OS" for such devices, I think that there is really a need for supporting it.
