Something like this unofficial addon for Chrome - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/protonmail-avatars/oeafplhigdpghchmklofmblpkhonkhon

Ideal way (for me) - is yandex UI for this feature.

    I don't understand why there is an icon with the initials of the account holder and this cannot be populated with an avatar. Why is the icon square used if it cannot be personalised? Or can it, have I missed that?

    I would like to be able to put my own avatar photo onto my proton account which I recently upgraded, please could you help, much appreciated
