Proton Mail iOS App: RSVP events and integrate them into the calendar
When you receive a meeting invite and open it using the Proton Mail iOS App you are currently unable to RSVP. Furthermore, the event is not displayed in the Proton Calendar iOS app.
A user should be able to RSVP within the Proton Mail iOS app and the corresponding event should be displayed in the calendar.

This is really critical and tbd a serious fault in a professional mail service. Accepting invitations and placing them in the respective device calendar is a minimum feature on any email app.

I sat here trying to figure out how to get the iOS app to properly open an ICS file for way, way too long. While I appreciate that Proton does at least show these events in the calendar, lacking a way to RSVP from within the mail app is pretty disappointing.

Accept an event invitation on IOS protonmail application like you can on the Webapp.
This will add the event to proton calendar. This is only possible on the Webapp as of now.
A small update to display the invitation reply:: Are you going? Yes/ Maybe/ No
would enable users to add the event to the calendar automatically.FYI:: People (me as well) are sending the invite emails to their google mail to add the events to the calendar. As a workaround.
Protonmail calendar and protonmail is not going to be used more if you have a quality of life/ User experience worse than other email clients.

It's really important to be able to accept calendar invites via the iOS app. I've been a subscriber to proton for over a year and I still can't accept calendar invites on my phone!
