I truly dislike what I call the "Russian Doll" design of Proton email threads. On a long email thread with multiple contributors, Proton email very quickly becomes non-intuitive and difficult to navigate. Why is it exactly, that previous messages need to be embedded as sub-messages within each reply or new message on the same thread? It makes no sense, and is confusing. The design of email thread ought to be LINEAR....where each new reply or new message should be added after the previous message. The design-approach of redundantly embedding previous messages is clunky at best. In my opinion, this should be completely re-factored and a new version released.
