Save and Open attachments
Hi,
I receive PDF's all day long and my workflow includes saving them in my work folders and open them instantly.
As of now, Proton Mail is too complicated. I don't need or want to open the PDF inside Proton Mail for a quick view, I need to work with it.
When saving the attachment to a folder the Save window does not offer the option to open it (with a selectable [X] Open file option).
This is so counterproductive, because I have to close the windows and go to File Explorer, find the file and open it....
Please, implement it. This is an urgent "make happy every day" feature. Thank you.
Edit: "Open" means "with the associated program" of course (in my case Abbyy, or Adobe Acrobat or whatever you use)

+1 having this exact issue when opening attachments (eg: PDF) in the Proton Mail Desktop app on Windows. Currently I can only Save an attachment or Open it in a preview frame. It drives me crazy that double clicking opens a preview frame.
I would love if I can double click to open the attachment in the full screen default OS viewer (which is Acrobat in my case) - or even an "Open With" right click option. But right now I have to save the file, go find it, then I can open it full size. Too many clicks to open an attachment.
