Allow the user to select from these 3 options:

• Display BIMI (Brand Indicator Message Identification) icons in e-mail message list and in e-mail messages
  (I believe this is the current behavior, and could even be left as the default)

• Display only my uploaded Contacts avatars

• Display my uploaded Contacts avatars; display BIMI icons where I haven't uploaded an avatar

Making more user control available to those who care to take the time to customize their Proton Mail experience can only be a good thing.

I spent an awful lot of time uploading images for all of my Gmail Contacts, and I can tell if an e-mail is coming from an address I recognize (it has the avatar I uploaded) or if I need to look into it to determine its validity (it doesn't have an avatar yet). This is far more reliable to me than wondering if an e-mail with no BIMI is fraudulent or they just haven't paid the fee to have a BIMI icon. I can also select icons that are meaningful to me, and not decided upon by the company.

Honestly, the BIMI indicators/icons are useless to me.
