1. Ability to make extra (multiple) inboxes

   I have business plan, I have my private email and 2 domains I have installed via ProtonMail. To my shock it is not possible to have multiple inboxes..differentiated at least for my domains…. Now everything lands in 1 inbox..! I want to come over to you but you don’t make it easy!

2. Yearly View

   Personally it’s easier to navigate through months with a yearly view. For example if I have a trip planned in May 2025, I need to scroll through 14 months to view the details of the event I made.

3. I would be interested in paying for $25 per YEAR (not month) for Unlimited domains & UNLIMITED addresses.

   I would be interested in paying $25/YEAR for Unlimited domains and addresses.

   I use catch-all and have probably 5 trillion trillion trillion possibilities and am not interested in paying MONEY to use an email ONCE.

   I want to be able to RECEIVE AND SEND from ALL domains and all email aliases, unlimited possibilities for each domain, and I have a lot of domains.

   PRESENTLY I GET ALL OF THIS 100% FOR FREE WITH GOOGLE APPS and I am unlimited grandfathered in forever. It allows 100 maximum SEND FROM emails, when I use them all I will just remove some I am not using to add more at any time. It allows 5 POP3 emails with 100 "send from" emails.

   So I can receive to unlimited number of emails FREE FOREVER with my google apps account which is the #1 most functional email on the internet today.

   My google apps account has 15GB of storage for free, but I never used this much. In fact over 10 years I only used 8GB. You should allow UNLIMITED everything except for storage. I can see having to pay more for high storage, but the rest is just SOFTWARE, there is zero expense to you so I should not have to pay for what costs you nothing.

   Summary WHAT I HAVE NOW:
   Google apps:
   * Cost: FREE - grandfathered forever.
   * UNLIMITED domains (INFINITE to receive mail to same inbox.)
   * 100 "send mail as" accounts at one time (can delete and add whenever I want)
   * 5 POP3 accounts (would like more, but at least this many)
   * 15GB storage
   REQUIRED FEATURES THAT IS HAS ALREADY IN MY FREE GOOGLE APPS ACCOUNT:
   * dark theme
   * delayed send feature (under "labs")
   * every send mail as can have its own html-based signature
   * robust filters
   * best search filter
   * best folders/archive capabilities
   * canned responses

   The only reason to leave gmail is because I want more privacy. But I do NOT want it for hundreds of dollars per year, it's just not worth it especially when I already have this for free. But I would pay TWENTY FIVE dollars per YEAR for the same or better benefits as google apps, just for the benefit of privacy.

   I will never use Protonmail despite having a protonmail account from the very beginning, until I can use it as an affordable replacement to google apps. FOR YOUR CURRENT ABSURD MONTHLY RATE I COULD INVEST THAT INTO SOMETHING ELSE AND IT STILL ISN'T EVEN CLOSE TO UNLIMITED FOR MY USAGE EVEN THOUGH I HAVE VERY SMALL STORAGE USAGE, SO IT'S PRESENTLY A TOTAL WASTE AND USELESS.

   You could probably have 1 million new users overnight if you offered a google apps replacement for $25 per year with the same features as I showed above.

   I would have already paid for the last 2-3 years if you had this option.
   I would never use it when i have to pay for individual addresses, especially since I already have it all for free in Google Apps.

   Everyone is looking to leave google, and yours would be the best google replacement except for your PROHIBITIVE COST, AND PRICING STRUCTURE.ore restless and want to leave google. BUT NOT FOR HUNDREDS PER YEAR. $40 per YEAR would be the MAX per year for UNLIMITED everything, although even at $40 I would be reluctant to pay that and may still not sign up because of this high cost per year of $40. But for $25 per year I would jump immediately for this unlimited plan.

   We will review our planes and try to make adjustments that will enable more users to afford ProtonMail.

   However, this request is impossible to honour due to the way our business model is developed.

   Contrary to Google, ProtonMail is not reading its users’ emails for advertising purposes, it does not serve ads, and it does not abuse personal data.

   As a result, our only income to maintain and develop the service comes from our users, and not from the advertising market.

   Google can offer all of this for free because you are not paying for the product with money, but with your privacy.

   I’m writing to suggest an enhancement that would make the calendar experience even more enjoyable for users like me. 5. Allow merging existing free account on a paid account

   Use case : You have 2 existing accounts : 1 with paid plan and 1 free, and you transform the free account to an alias of the paid account (and existing mails on free account are merged to mailbox of paid account).

6. Easily move recurring events (including birthdays) between calendars

   Currently, managing recurring events, such as annual birthdays or weekly meetings, requires a complex process of recreation if the user wishes to change which calendar they belong to (e.g., moving an event from a 'Personal' calendar to a 'Family' or 'Work' calendar).

   Please implement a simple 'move to' function for recurring events that transfers the entire series to the new calendar. This would streamline organization and data management within the Proton ecosystem, improving the user experience significantly."

7. Remove/Update misleading and false claims in paid plans - Custom domain - Users

   I am requesting that the seemingly deliberately, misleading claims of Protonmail Plus and Protonmail Visionary be updated to reflect clearly that the "5 ADDRESSES" and Custom Domain Support does not actually work as most people will interpret it.
   I have been inspired to ask having read https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-feedback/suggestions/12484953-multiple-accounts-for-same-custom-domain

   It seems that the 5 addresses are not in fact 5 user accounts that can be used with a custom domain but in fact 5 alias type addresses that can only be used by one person. It also seems that only one person can use the custom domain address.

   Please vote this up and spread the word!

8. shared calendars & contacts for multi-user accounts

   looking at protonmail as an alternative to mailbox.org. Proton's UI is quite a bit ahead imho!

   I would like to see better multi-user/team support, not just for businesses but families where its common to share calendars, contacts, to-do lists, etc.. I'm getting this built in with mailbox.org and hoping this will be added to the calendar before release?

   Thank you for the continued development of Proton Mail and Proton Calendar. Your commitment to privacy and user-centric features is greatly appreciated.

   I would like to request a feature that would streamline productivity and organization within the Proton ecosystem: the ability to add an email to Proton Calendar directly from the context menu in all apps.

   Specifically:
   • When right-clicking (or tapping the options menu) on an email in the inbox, or when viewing an open email, there should be an option to “Add to Calendar”
   • This action would create a new calendar event pre-filled with the email’s subject as the event title, and the email body or a link to it in the description
   • Optionally, it could detect and pre-fill suggested times or dates from the email content

   This small addition would greatly improve email-to-calendar workflows, helping users quickly convert information into actionable events without having to copy and paste manually.

   This kind of integration is increasingly expected in modern productivity tools and would help bring Proton’s suite closer to parity with major providers, while maintaining your superior privacy standards.

    I really appreciate how Proton Mail Calendar continues to improve usability and organization — having a reliable calendar that syncs across devices makes planning my day so much easier. I often schedule everything from work tasks to meal planning, and it’s handy to have reminders for everything.

11. Notications from shared calendars

    When sharing a calendar, for example in a family, it would be nice to know if other members of the shared calendar adds, deletes or make changes to the calendar. It could be a change of time, title or date of an existing appointment. Or if a member adds an new appointment.
    Would it be possible to add this feature to the calendar?

12. Add REMINDER tool to work with Calendar - like Samsung Reminder & Google Task

    I use Proton Calendar as my Calendar on laptop and Samsung phone. I read article praising the Samsung REMINDER app and how it works in coordination/integrated with Samsung's calendar - similar to how Google Tasks works with their calendar. I use Samsung's CLOCK app for reminders, but it is not a great tool for that purpose. Proton has been making very good tools that are included with my DUO/FAMILY package and I would love if you could add this to your portfolio.

13. Phone contacts in Proton Mail

    Do you have or are you planning to create a Messenger service like WhatsApp or a way to use WhatsApp with my contacts stored in protonmail, I am using an android phone as well as computers and don’t like the fact that google store all my contact details as well as other things, I have imported all my phone contacts into protonmail and will try to use protonmail to make calls in the future, protonmail isn’t as user friendly to make calls unless you can advise me on how to make a shortcut on my phone to go directly to my phone contacts now stored in protonmail

14. Proton Mail and Calendar Bridge for iOS

    My work HIPAA compliant encrypted email through Microsoft exchange works with apple's mail and calendar apps, so I don't necessarily understand why that couldn't be the same for Proton, especially if it just works through a device management profile like how desktop proton bridge works for the apple mail app.

    I am not asking this because I think there's something inherently wrong with the Proton mobile apps, I am asking because I would like one app where I can view all of my inboxes together (same for calendar). I personally have my personal proton mail inboxes as well as Microsoft exchange inboxes for work and for school, and a lesser used iCloud email address, and a google account created with my proton mail email so that family who uses Google Calendar can share their google calendars with me without having to make their calendars public. I prefer the apple mail and calendar apps because they allow me to view all of these calendars and inboxes together, regrettably except my proton mail account.

17. Link (or associate) emails and calendar events

    This is different from creating a Calendar event from an email.

    It is the ability to associate one or more emails with a Calendar event (or a task, which is a feature I expect to see soon).

    Simple use-case:
    - You receive 3 emails on different days notifying you about a delivery you'll have in 2 weeks time.
    - You create a Calendar event two weeks from now saying "a delivery is expected on this day".
    - You link the emails you receive regarding that delivery to that calendar event (or task). Any further emails you receive can also be linked to that event.
    - When going into the calendar event, you can see a list of emails associated with it.

    This is very similar to how labels work, but instead of labels, they are actual Calendar events.

    Another use-case is trip planning. You want to be able to easily refer to the relevant emails directly from a Calendar event.

    This can be achieved quite easily by storing an email UID in a special section of the Calendar event metadata, and similarly, the Calendar events UIDs in the email metadata.

    This is different from creating a Calendar event from an email.

18. Unified Storage Across Proton Services

    I would love to see Proton unify its storage across all services.

    Right now, Proton services have separate storage limits in the free plan:

    Proton Mail: 500 MB (upgradable to 1 GB through setup tasks)

    Proton Drive: up to 5 GB (after completing setup or boost tasks)

    For paid plans, Proton already provides shared storage between Mail and Drive, but not for the free tier.

    It would be great if free users could also have a single shared storage pool, for example 5 GB total across Mail, Drive, Calendar, and other Proton services, instead of isolated limits for each.

    I would love to see Proton unify its storage across all services.

19. iOS API integration

    It would be very helpful if Proton Calendar supported easy event imports from other apps on iOS. Since I travel frequently by train, it would be great to automatically add trips to my calendar using the iOS share sheet in train planning apps like ÖBB Scotty.

20. Show full folder path in “Move message to…” search results

    Problem:
    When I move an email and type into Move message to…, results only show the leaf folder name. I have parallel structures for different children, e.g.

    Children/KidOne/SchoolOne

    Children/KidTwo/SchoolOne
    Both show up as “SchoolOne”, so I can’t tell which is which.

    Request:
    Display the full folder path (or at least parent folders) in the move dialog’s search results—for example:

    Children / KidOne / SchoolOne

    Children / KidTwo / SchoolOne

    Nice-to-haves:

    Show the full path as a secondary line or breadcrumb.

    Tooltip with the complete path on hover.

    Keyboard navigation should read the full path for accessibility.

    Option to toggle “Show full path in folder lists” in Settings.

    Why
    Reduces misfiling, saves clicks, and helps anyone with mirrored folder trees (families, clients, projects with identical subfolder names).
