Comprehensive file changes list in Drive
I'm looking to switch from Dropbox to Proton Drive, and was looking into the file versioning featureset. I'm looking for an option to display a master comprehensive list of all file uploads to drive so that I can audit file additions/deletions/changes on the scale of my entire drive. Dropbox specifically has <dropbox.com/events> that displays this comprehensive list of drive changes.

Add Row/Column Groups to Proton Sheets
I track many things in my spreadsheets and grouping is a lifesaver. When I decide to track the TV series that I have watched by Season and suddenly there are 1000 rows in my spreadsheet, it would be almost impossible without grouping together first alphabetically and then by show as a secondary/subgroup. This makes it much easier to find what I am looking for and not be bombarded with however many rows in each spreadsheet.
This is one of the two main things keeping me with google sheets at the moment and I would love to fully switch over once…

multiple album
I found suggestion to add subfolder or to move photo from an album to another, but I couldn't find a suggestion to support multiple album assignement to a single photo. Album should behave like labels, more than like folders, in my opinion.

Support creating nested folders with path syntax (mkdir -p style)
When creating a new folder, allow users to enter a path with forward slashes to create the entire folder hierarchy in one step.
Example:
EnteringPhotos/Events/2021_09_Wedding/Aperitifin the "Folder name" input would create all four nested folders at once.Expected behavior:
- Folders that already exist are silently skipped
- Only missing folders in the path are created
- Works likemkdir -pon Linux/macOSWhy this helps:
Currently, organizing files into a deep folder structure requires creating each folder individually, navigating into it, then creating the next one. This is tedious when setting up a new hierarchy or importing…5 votes -
Migrate From Ente
I’m currently using Ente until the Proton photo backup feature matures a bit more (and has additional tools like being able to sync deletion of a photo from the Drive with deletion from my device). At that point, I’d like to be able to easily migrate my photos from Ente Photos to Proton Photos.

Add Spreadsheet‑Style Font Options to the Text Document Editor
Proposal:
When creating or editing a text document in Proton Drive, users currently have a limited set of typefaces compared with the richer font selection available in the new spreadsheet editor. To provide a more consistent and flexible writing experience across the suite, we propose extending the text‑document editor to include all the fonts that are now supported in the spreadsheet module (e.g., Calibri, Cambria, Arial Unicode, etc.).Benefits:
…Unified Design Language – Users can maintain visual consistency when embedding tables, charts, or excerpts copied from spreadsheets into documents. Improved Productivity – Reduces the need to switch between applications or manually adjust5 votes -
Ability to set a network data speed cap
Would be extremely useful to have a network cap when downloading / uploading in Proton Drive. I run the risk of not being able to do any tasks that requires network in the background while Drive is working as it hogs all the data for itself.

allowing backup drive to online solutions (e.g. StorJ) w/o downloading data locally on a computer
I'd love a feature to backup ProtonDrive data w/o downloading data locally on a computer. Either with a Proton Backup functionality (separate from the active cloud storage) or by targeting an online storage service as a backup (e.g. StorJ) from the web cloud interface.

Start Drive sync while 'preparing'
Apologies, not sure if "new feature" or 'change to existing feature'.
Setting up Proton Drive on a new machine or after a re-format - it spends HOURS "Setting up... (x items prepared for sync)" before it actually starts syncing.
Why can't it start syncing what is already 'prepared' while figuring out the rest? Would be a HUGE QoL improvement for users and save a TON of time getting people up and running.

Make iOS/iPadOS Drive app more powerful
The iOS/iPadOS Drive app is fine, but I find myself often gravitating towards the web app as it’s more power user friendly. I can quickly jump to any folder by expanding the folder tree, which doesn’t exist at all on mobile. Uploads are much more reliable whereas they often fail in the mobile app.

You ******* *****, let me create folder albums inside of albums under Photos Tab
I have never seen such a half baked product company in my entire life. You sell yourselves as privacy bastions to tackle Google and co circle jerk friends yet you bow to the same evil practices that make us hate big tech in the first place. With Google they are always giving us a reason to hate them. Privacy first. With Proton you are always giving us a reason to hate you. Half baked feature after another. Stop this, give us the basics with each release so we actually want to recommend you to people who won't hate us for…

Download and Upload speed limiter
In EU most of the countries has bad internet over ASDL, so limiting upload and download speed while syncing files is important, because to big upload can kill whole home network download and vice versa. For example on speed asdl like I have I can upload 2000Kb/s but without limit it can go up to 2300kb/s which kills my internet connection. So I can only use cloud disks which had these limiters build in. For example, Mega, Dropbox, OneDrive and Tresorit has it, but not proton.
