I ended up writing my own plugin for this. I just run using docker on a raspberry Pi. https://github.com/alexwhb/ProtonMail-Retention-Bot
Pretty easy to get setup and seems to work well. :)

This would be sooo useful! Please please please add at least a basic public API. I love soooo much about proton, but this is a definite sad missing feature.
