    I'm voting against for now, here is why:

    TLDR; this is not a priority.

    1. Standard Notes is already part of the Proton company and it's been years that Proton has decided that Standard Notes wouldn't be part of the Proton app ecosystem and would stay independant.

    2. Such an app doesn't help the rest of the ecosystem, and the "core" of the proton ecosystem, which i would define by Mail, Calendar, Drive, VPN.

    3. Other General Ideas would take more priority. Tasks would finalize (a bit") the calendar ecosystem that's clearly lacking a lot of features rn.

    This is "another app", but fact is, this is part of a professional suite integrating with mail and calendar. This not just another app, this is completing the current lacking ecosystem of calendar.

    Voting Against also. Core apps need to be more complete and deserve more love. Having a full mail / calendar /task suited for professional use with current standard would be way more better than having another app to maintain.
    You would have to invest *A LOT* to try to do better than Signal.
