I would expect that any email to a 'hide my alias' address, or an email replying to an alias address, would hide the primary, or chosen mailbox address.
Sending out the following message is not helpful. If aliases are in use, the user should not have to manually tweak replies.

The Proton apps should be designed to work with aliases, first and foremost.
I'd even suggest a setting preventing anything leaving a Proton app that wasn't using a hide-my-alias.
