    Pay for EXACTLY the storage that you used in a month, instead of having to bump plans with *** GB increments - and serious price increases.

    Proton uses limits to extract maximum consumer surplus and force new plans on people, when all they want is just more storage. This is just like commercial companies, and leaves a bad taste.

    The better approach is to align consumer value and producer cost : pay for what you use, with a standard cost-plus premium. It's not how you make the most money, agreed - but it is how you build a loyal user…

  2. Easier Management of Multiple Proton Accounts (with Admin/Billing Role)

    As a small business owner, I often manage multiple Proton accounts – for example, one for personal use and others for different projects or clients. While Proton is already a great tool, handling multiple accounts could be made a lot more convenient.

    What would help:

    The ability to link and switch between multiple Proton accounts within the same interface, without constantly logging in and out.

    An option to set different billing addresses and email contacts per account. This would be especially useful when managing subscriptions for multiple businesses or teams.

    Feature request:

    Optional separate password protection for wiping security monitor logs.

    The password is paired with allowing a user to set a configurable delayed deletion with options of 1, 2 or 3 months. On confirming the logs are to be wiped you must wait for the delay to elapse.

    If a user wants to remove the password or change it along with the log protections a predetermined set delay will need to elapse before anything can be altered. A small window of 24 hours or more can be allowed incase the user changes their mind about the password they have…

    Currently, you can verify and recover from one email address and/or one phone number.
    I wish to be able to verify and recover by multiples of both.

    To clarify, I'm not looking for a 2 of 2 multisign solution like Phone 1 AND Phone 2, but from Phone 1 OR Phone 2. The same for external email addresses, while we are here.

    Why this? Because I live between two continents with 2 relative phone numbers. One almost doesn't work in one continent; the other almost doesn't work in the other one.

    I think there are ways to make it worthwhile to fund permanent chats for free users. This is a major pain point because most people want their chat history to be permanent.

    My ideas:

    Personalize Lumo’s appearance. Some users form a bond with the AI they use, and Lumo is one of the few assistants that actually has a visual persona. Proton could turn this into a Lumo + feature, allowing users to change Lumo’s colour, add a collar, or dress it in outfits.

    To mark the 10 years anniversary of Proton, many look back at when their accounts were created. Showing a simple "Account created on ...." on the Dashboard or Account section of the settings would be nice to keep the date in mind. Also that helps knowing when anniversary storage drops will fall! :D

    I would like to request support for Fastmail/Migadu-style catch-all aliases in Proton/SimpleLogin, where any email sent to *@*.example.com—including all subdomains of a custom domain—is automatically delivered to my main mailbox (e.g., example@example.com). This would allow users to receive emails sent to any subdomain without manually creating aliases, simplifying email management while keeping full control over a custom domain.

  14. Allow adding payment methods for users with Apple subscriptions

    Issue:
    Users that have an active subscription through Apple's App Store cannot add payment method in Proton Mail settings. When they click on "Add credit / debit card" they are greeted with the "Manage your subscription on Apple App Store" popup.

    While I understand why it wouldn't make much sense to have a payment method on an account that has their subscription managed by a 3rd party, I've encountered an edge case that I think would be beneficial to the <1% of users like me.

    I’d like to suggest a feature that would be really helpful for admins managing paid Proton accounts:

    Currently, Proton doesn’t seem to send out monthly billing notification emails when an invoice is generated or a payment is processed. It also doesn’t include the invoice as a PDF attachment in any notification. This means admins have to manually log into the dashboard each month just to retrieve the invoice.

    For those of us managing billing and accounting tasks, it would be a big improvement if Proton could:

    Automatically send a billing email each month when a new invoice is issued.

  16. Share custom domain between different paid plans

    Note: this request is for multiple separate accounts (on separate plans) to be able to use the same custom domain, not multiple users/accounts on the same plan. In my case I have a custom domain I'd like my family to use (my spouse and kids, 6 total users) as well as my parents and siblings (another 6 users). Moving to a business plan is cost-prohibitive ($48/mo total for two family accounts vs. $156/mo for 12 business users), and I really don't want to have to register a different custom domain for each family plan.

    After a few months of being on Drive plus I realized that the Mail plus plan fits me better. Proton drive drives me crazy so I am moving that to pcloud instead.
    I currently have 100 gb in my drive, all of it is photos and videos that I am unable to delete since there is no good way of doing that.

    I love Proton’s encrypted email and want my extended family to use it, but most relatives only need a mailbox—not the full Proton suite. Paying for separate Mail Plus accounts or a bundled Family plan (which includes services we never use) is costly and cumbersome.     My credit card company got swallowed up by a larger company and as a result my credit card number was changed. As a result auto-renew failed. Instead of deleting delinquent accounts perhaps put them in stasis for a month or two?
