How can we improve our accounts settings, payments or plans?

    iDEAL is the most popular online payment system in the Netherlands (NL):

    Please consider adding support for this method for Donation, like Wikipedia has already done.
    I don't have bitcons, err bitcoins, or PayPal.

  2. Wrong password limit

    I suggest to add incorrect password limits.

    a) For IP - eg. 5 incorrect passwords in 20 minuts from one IP will block logging in to ANY account from that IP for eg. 30 minutes.
    b) For account (configurable in account settings) - X incorrect passwords in Y minutes/hours will block logging in from ANY IP not added to whitelist (in account settings) for Z minutes/hours and send notification to recovery email.

    c) After successful login show warning if there were any login attemps (invalid password).

  3. Link already existing ProtonMail addresses to your current account address.

    Being able to link already existing ProtonMail addresses to your current account address, thus making it easier to manage multiple ProtonMail Accounts.

  4. Be able to change Username

    Right now if I sign up as username@protonmail.com, there's no way to change it, for instance to user.name@protonmail.com. Even though u.serna.me@protonmail.com and use.rname+change@protonmail.com already goes to username@protonmail.com.

    Seems like we should be able to change this if we like!

  5. Support DASH payments for donations and other stuff

    Hi,
    I would like to pay with dash. It is the only cryptocurrency with instant payments. They are having lot of inovations implemented and lot of things will be in near future.

    Please alow us using the most decentralized currency for payments for donations and other stuff on protonmail service.

  6. If we were able to buy single addresses for ProtonMail. For example, you could set it like; Buy 1 address for $5.00 - One time payment.

  10. Add More Currencies

    Request: Add billing in Canadian currency. I really want to support Protonmail but having to deal with inflation through conversion makes it really difficult and limits payment options. Billing in more currencies would be nice...

    Sent with ProtonMail Secure Email discount for paying users:

    It would be great if paying users of protonmail would get a reward when they leave the signature "Sent with ProtonMail Secure Email" turned on, which is advertising the protonmail brand, for example by giving those paying protonmail-users some extra free storage space 1GB? or a bit more? That's up to the team and how much you guys think you could give users.

  12. Add security questions

    You can add security questions on resetting password - after clicking link sent to recovery email, before you can enter new password, you should answer two (or three) security questions.

    This will be additional security for resetting password.

  13. All session logout cmd and session time limit expiry

    I'd like a command facility where we can log out of all open sessions, similar to that google offers. I'd also like a session expiration timelimit option... i've left my protonmail account open in a browser and come back several days later to hit refresh only to find that it refreshes fine without requesting login details again.

    Personally, for a service that is about privacy retention.. these seem like massive oversights and at the very least a session inactivity logout feature should be in place... think along the lines of payment gateways and how sessions expire if you're inactive for…

    Instead of having a Plus, with a fixed number of custom domains and adresses, let users build their own paid plan.
    Some may only want more space, without the other extras, or something else

  15. 50 cents for 500 MB

    Many have already written about better pricing. From what I read, it was either too complicated (option of many choices, for eg. for tags and so on) or the choice was too basic. What I suggest is, everyone should pay what they "can" and "need". For every 50 cents, the user should get more space and for the sake of simplicity, please make the tags available for all paying users.
    Ofcoarse, paying 50 cents is a very small about, but a yearly charge would translate to 6$ a year. If that is yet too small, make it 12 $ for…

  16. More payment options

    I see protonmail accept paypal, credit card and bitcoin as payment option. But you have traffic from many countries like China, Germany, France, Brazil, India, Russia and so on. We are Payssion, a payment service provider, we'd like to offer you global payments like webmoney, Alipay, sofort and so on which has a higher coverage in these countries and do not have chargeback. Our payment options are really suitable for your customers from all over the world. Hope you can consider it.

  17. Put a country flag in security log entries

    The security log fails to give the user a clear idea of who logged in. Just by the time and some ip adress it's difficult to distinguish me from a hacker.
    Therefore, I propose there is a country flag in the security log entries. This way I can just take a quick look at the logs and if somehow someone in say cuba, china, russia whatever logged in, I know for sure that wasn't me.
    Now obviously a hacker would use Tor or some other form of proxy but that proxy would still most likely be located in some other…

  18. Eliminate the .ch domain and leave only the .com

    All accounts ProtonMail bring by default the domain .ch and .com

    We don't all live in Switzerland

    So we don't want to have there the domain .ch

  19. Allow login username to be different from email and aliases

    You can effectively make your login username a barrier from even giving hackers a starting point to get into your account. Since with this feature they would need to know your username first. This should squash any determine hacker and allow great protection to long term protonmail accounts for years to come. Thoughts of "working on hacking this account may take time" is diminished wouldnt ya say?

  20. An additional lower cost pricing tier

    Another pricing tier for those who have austere budgets but could afford to pay a bit would be nice. Say $20/year for 1.2 GB storage, 2 addresses, 120 labels, and so forth. Or something like that.
