    Please implement fido2 api for Security Key auth. Works without play services. It would be much easier to use a security key like yubikey, instead of typing a password. Thanks https://developer.android.com/identity/sign-in/fido2-migration

    Linux distributions like secureblue which try to make Linux desktop as secure as possible suggest only using flatpaks and only show verified flatpaks by default.

    Very sad that this isn't even planned. I am unable to replace TOTP with a security key on my proton account which would enhance my security. I appeal to Proton to implement FIDO functionality without Play services.
