I second this! For now, try downloading Organic Maps. It works fine but isn't as nice as Google features-wise. Proton Maps all the way!

I think that this is the single most important thing Proton could do with their resources right now. There are other maps services based on Open Street Map such as Osmand~ and Organic Maps, but if Proton were to add reviews for businesses as well as keep it updated better, it would be totally game changing.

Proton Maps would be incredible if they also allow for rating and reviewing businesses. If it's kept on top of as well as Google Maps is, it has the potential to be the biggest competitor to both Google and Apple maps. I'm a big fan of this idea and I think it's almost a necessity to have on the roadmap! (No pun intended :p)

Sharing a calendar is available on Web.
On next iterations we would like to enable the editing permission on mobile apps and add in the future to only share the "busy" information

Work on this feature request is underway, starting with iOS.
🗓️ A new calendar invite widget shows the main event info in all emails that contain event invites. Tapping on it takes you to the #ProtonCalendar app directly from your inbox.

Proton already has this to some extent with their VPN, but in general, anti-virus software is just very invasive. It's difficult to make one that's both functional as well as privacy preserving.

This would be interesting, however 2 things:
1) SMS is inherently insecure and there are some alternative SMS apps like Silence that work okay with minimal features and aren't google. I think Signal really has dominated the market of messages and Proton would have a hard time competing.
2) The most private mobile OS is GrapheneOS and they offer their own default SMS app that works fine. It's still inherently insecure because the SMS protocol is outdated, but it works.
I would welcome a Proton SMS app because why not, but I recommend just buying a Google Pixel device and installing GrapheneOS.

This would be cool, but there are other apps which do effectively the same thing. GrapheneOS comes with their own privacy respecting gallery app and there are a handful on the F-Droid store.

I love this idea! I believe that private voice assistant is not only possible, but necessary for futureproofing Proton. I don't see many good alternatives right now and I absolutely love the idea of a Proton integrated VA. Please don't listen to the haters!
