    It would be great if Proton Pass support CTAP (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Client_to_Authenticator_Protocol) so that we could authenticate on a desktop computer from a mobile device for example by scanning a qr-code within the Proton Pass application

    There are open-source apps that support hardware key without play services such as :

    The tutorial https://proton.me/support/set-up-fido2-on-mobile doesn't mention that you need google play services for it to work
