Black-and-white feature like Google Drive or BlackBerry's built-in document scanner would be nice. Taking a picture isn't sufficient especially when color contrast is not high enough.

I would say this is critical and desperately needed.
Signal is not the same messaging service that it was a few years ago.
The chairman of the Signal Foundation's board is Katherine Maher who is also the CEO of NPR and also formerly the CEO of the Wikimedia Foundation (Wikipedia) is on the record saying some very troubling things about it being okay to lie for the greater good of society so long as the beneficial story is the one that is told. https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1980389747584618648?s=20
I have lost confidence in Signal. A private messaging app with Proton-grade encryption, security, and privacy would be amazing and is needed to fill the gap that Signal has opened.

This is 100% spot-on!
To add, I think Standard Notes should also provide for the ability for users to hand-write their notes on their own tablet devices. Currently, people can only type things onto Standard Notes, which is good for people who have computers but bad for people who have tablets.
Additionally, Standard Notes (or whatever Proton decides to turn it into) should also have a feature similar to Apple's Freeform, which is essentially a giant endless-plain to write notes on. This is way more helpful than writing something down on pages and having to flip through things just to find them (as is the case with Good Notes, which allows hand-writing on tablet by the way).

If Proton did this, it would be pretty epic.
The need for privacy is now more than ever, especially when oversaturation of the market from tech giants is pushing out competitors.

Proton Meet is currently in the works.
However, if any of Proton Meets developers see this, I hope they include the Proton Meets meeting code link into Proton Calendar.
Currently, Proton Calendar only allows for Zoom links to be attached to events.
