For enhanced privacy, please consider adding a setting in ProtonDrive that allows users to automatically strip metadata from all files at the time of upload — not just during sharing. This would include EXIF data in images, as well as metadata in PDFs, Word docs, and other file types.

The idea is to ensure that all files stored in ProtonDrive are clean of any potentially sensitive metadata (such as GPS coordinates, author info, device type, etc.) right from the moment they are uploaded — minimizing the risk of accidental exposure later.

Having this as an optional privacy setting in the user’s account would be a great feature for privacy-conscious users.
