Right now, Proton auto-deletes emails in Trash and Spam after 30 days by default. I’d love to see an option to customize this time.
For example:
1) Privacy-focused users could set it to auto-delete after 1 day, a few hours, or even immediately (skip Trash).
2) Others might prefer to keep deleted emails for 60 or 90 days, just in case they need to recover something.
Having this flexibility would give users more control over their privacy and email management.
Hope you consider adding this in a future update!
