Folder structure
Add an option in the windows Proton Drive App, to change the folder structure from:
"Proton Drive/username/My files/DATA I STORE"
to
"Proton Drive/DATA I STORE".
the current folder structure is unnecessary and confusing, the "username/My files" folders are not necessary if you have only one Proton account.

Why does a folder called “My file” pollute the Proton Drive folder on Windows ?
We're obliged to go through “My file” to create or integrate our files, and it's impossible to create a new one outside this folder.
Couldn't we have a simpler path like Microsoft's OneDrive or Apple's iCloud ?
Couldn't we have a direct path to ProtonDrive without having to go through the “My file” folder? -

This would be a nice QOL change

"My Files" folder is a nightmare, please let us define it how we want.

When using Dropbox, OneDrive, GoogleDrive on Windows, you can directly access your files by clicking on the directory in the navigation pane of Windows Explorer. With Proton Drive, all your files are nested under a "My Files" subfolder. It makes accessing the files a little bit more tedious.
This seems to be specific to the Windows client, the Web and Android clients don't have this.
I suggest to change the shortcut in the Navigation Pane of Windows Explorer, so that it points directly to "%DIR%\ProtonDrive\My files" -

This is already possible. You can define a shorter path during installation or go to Settings > Your Proton Drive Folder and change it. This won't however avoid the root "My files" folder being created which isn't convenient for coding related tasks due to the space in the path.
Let us define our own root path without any spaces 🙏
