Fast sync in LAN with Proton AG servers orchestration.
Sync could be faster if instead of having all devices to proxy through Proton AG could access logged-in devices directly on LAN. I am talking at least of the part of Proton Drive that is common to all OSes.
Right now you have the most up to date files on one device that need to be uploaded to the servers and then downloaded to the same other devices that might be already in the same LAN.
I don't know how complex it would be but instead of going 10MB/s we could have a gigabit sync within our own LAN without putting pressure on the Proton AG servers therefore having the servers to only be doing coordination and consistency checks in these situations. I see the use case for a lot of users being on the same LAN for heavy works.
If I backup 10GB from a phone, I have to upload once and possibly have to download it again as many times as I have devices.
What are the other users opinions on this?
