Now that photo backup for iOS and Android is fully released, a critical missing feature is the ability to share photos, albums, and management between family members.
In iCloud, Google Photos, or Amazon photos, family members can backup photos to a single shared repository that all family members can see. Each user is separate, and they can have their own albums if they wish, but the family can also see all photos shared with the family share members. This single view of all photos in a combined family album is critical for photo sharing, and a significant missing feature that is preventing me from using Proton Drive for photos, or canceling my iCloud subscription completely.

I need family shared folders for this to work. The current “sharing” implementation is useless for families. I need actual shared folders to backup photos to.

To be clear, this feature should capable of being enabled automatically in settings for family plan users. I should not be required to "invite" family members to share photos , folders/albums, and files. The family plan administrator should have this option in drive settings, and each user should be able to choose to participate or not.
