    This is a critical missing feature of drive. As a Family plan user, not having shared folders between family members makes Drive completely useless.

    With Photo backup coming, if I can’t use a shared folder with my spouse, that feature will also be a non-starter for me.

    I need family shared folders for this to work. The current “sharing” implementation is useless for families. I need actual shared folders to backup photos to.

    This is a must have, but ONLY if family shared folders become available. I don’t want to have to deal with merging my photos with my spouse manually.

    Both my phone and my spouses phone should be able to backup to the same shared photo folder.
