Maybe more than 10, but at the same time you can't just keep giving away all of the value added features that encourage people to help support ongoing development, maintenance, and support of the product line.

This is a good idea. I worked for many years supporting database backup and recovery software, and we always encouraged our customers to do periodic "dry run recoveries" to help make sure everything they needed was in place if they had to perform an actual recovery.

This really needs to be a thing. I have a Duo plan and I was disappointed to find out that my spouse can't create their own email alias off of a custom domain linked to my Mail account.

I’m not going to pay for the premium Lumo service until and unless I can trial it for at least 7 days, and 14 would be better. I think a *reasonable* discount for Unlimited and higher subscribers should be considered, but really, I’d like a free trial of the full product.

They sort of already do, as long as they keep grandfathering subscribers into the rate they are paying now, even as rates for new subscribers rise. Over time, that may end up being a significant discount if they keep honoring that.

Also, those on Duo or Family plans have to subscribe to Lumo for *all* users. So if someone has 2 people in a Duo plan, they can have to pay two subscription fees even if only one wants to use the service (and it's even worse for the Family plan). And, as you mentioned, if you are on a 2-year cycle, subscribing to Lumo forces you back onto a costlier one-year renewal cycle for everything.
Using my example, I am paying basically US$144 a year for Duo on a two year plan. If I wanted Lumo Plus, even if my other user did not, I'd have to pay $180+$120+$120 = $420 a year, when all I want is an add-on $10 monthly Lumo Plus sub for one person while keeping the two-year Duo subscription in place ($144+$120 = $264).
As someone on a Duo plan with a two year renewal cycle, this is absolutely a 100% deal-breaker for me.
