To me, the existing combination of ProtonVPN and Quad9 (when not using a VPN) make this a solution looking for a problem. Or to put it another way, if there were a ProtonDNS, how would it be much different than Quad9?

Agreed, totally. I come from another VPN where you could pay for a dedicated IP. This would help. I have seen this offered elsewhere for US$3 a month or less with longer term subscriptions. I’d totally pay that.

On the Dashboard page of the web client’s Account page, I see a section called “Your Subscriptions” which seems to do just that.
