Linux support is critical now as Windows is more a spyware than an OS at this point.

Since the inception of Proton I'm waiting for a Linux client.
Rclone implementation is helping but still imperfect.
pCloud did it and used AppImage, FUSE and some other open libraries.
I'm conscious such development will take time and is resource consuming. But holding it means it is also holding people from transitioning fully from Windows to Linux. Valve and Proton (the other one) did a lot of good to gaming industry and gaming on Linux. Now Proton (this one) needs to invest cash in it and do the switch.

I would pay for that and also if devs switched this ugly x11 backend on the app to Wayland.
