Linux Client
Proton Drive really needs the ability to sync desktop files automatically. This post focuses on a Linux client for Proton Drive.

I'm struggling to backup my folders to Proton Drive. I would love a linux client or even support for online accounts in Linux a la Google Drive.

For me, this is one of the main reasons I'm still on Windows for my work. Please give us a Proton Drive client for Linux!

I would like to synch files automatically as you can with Windows. this is a big obstacle to moving to Linux. Workarounds are a PITA

This is the only feature delaying my Windows to Linux migration for ~4 years !!!, Don't know for how long !

Proton could be like a non-invasive one drive option for Linux but instead you don't even support it, not cool.

Proton first slogan is security, but only proprietary OSs are supported. Are you serious, guys?
How much longer are you going to ignore the most popular topic?
I'm considering leaving Google Workspace, but this fundamental shortcoming has been holding me back for years. I'm starting to despair.

Yeah this is a big issue for me. I recently switched entirely to linux, and I would like to ditch dropbox, and exclusively use proton. so i upgraded to the 2Tb Duo plan. but so far the workarounds aren't syncing properly. so idk.. i'll keep trying but if i can't get it to work i'll have to go back to dropbox

Linux client is very important to be available in a product like Proton where the many of the users use this OS as default

Voted as critical. For the moment it feels that I'm paying for nothing if I can't reliably sync on Linux, which is the only OS that I run on my desktop and laptop. I'll be downgrading my subscription if you don't make a Linux client in the near future.

This would be a huge asset to have on Linux. It's the singular thing that's stopping me from moving away from Windows at the moment.
