Linux Client
Proton Drive really needs the ability to sync desktop files automatically. This post focuses on a Linux client for Proton Drive.

This is likely a critical missing piece for a lot of people that would help them move their daily computer OS to Linux. As someone making the switch to a more privacy focused ecosystem, this feature is a must for me.

I pay for this service because I believe in it, and really like the Proton suite. Similarly, I use Linux because there's no privacy with MS. Please create a Linux Desktop App so we can backup and easily modify our files. Touting privacy and not fully supporting Linux is inauthentic.

I privacy-focused service like Proton that doesn't support Linux is just bizarre. Really hamstrings the usefulness of ProtonDrive. The fact it's not even mentioned on the roadmap is really disappointing.

As a family plan member, this feature is essential to us in this plan. +1 @hic

I am worried after seeing no mention of Linux on the Drive roadmap page. It is very frustrating to have to manually download and then reupload files to the cloud storage every time you modify them.

I am extremely surprised to find out after already subscribing that drive is not available for linux. Pretty disappointed to find out the vpn app doesn't support wireguard on linux, either.

Privacy is a matter of great importance for numerous individuals who utilize both Linux and Proton services. It is only logical to have a dedicated ProtonDrive client specifically designed for the Linux platform.

I use all of Proton's apps and the rest already have a Linux veersion. It's very important to have the one for Drive also! I plan to get a second computer running OSX, so being able to access my files from both machines is a must! I also want to move to a family account but for that we need to be able to share files!

Linux user here. Enjoying Proton products, but uploading files through the browser is not good for me. I need a client.

Already out of principle, to support the privacy movement, the shared values, Proton should show a bit more love to Linux. I have been paying for a Proton Unlimited account for years but I am still running Dropbox on my Linux Mint...
Update: recently I switched from Dropbox to MEGA. Otherwise, who knows how long we have to wait for a proper Linux client from Proton.

Privacy is a significant concern for many of us who use both Linux and Proton services. Having a ProtonDrive client for Linux just makes sense! ;-)

I seriously need a Linux client for Proton Drive otherwise the service is no good to me. I had subscribed to Unlimited but downgraded to Mail Plus as the Drive web interface doesn't suit my needs. I only use Linux based machines personally.

+1 I'm a software engineer. I exclusively run Linux. Proton Drive is useless to me without a desktop client.

Would love for there to be a Linux client. On my development machine Linux is my main OS.

I'm using Linux as my daily drive. The lack of a Linux client is really a pity...
