    As a long term Unlimited subscriber, I can't even get some discount. I can understand all the technical challenges, and costs related to the necessary infrastructure to deploy and keep LLM models, however, no discount? No trial?
    If am I an unlimited subscriber, what does that mean? Unlimited, but....

  2. "Make the creation of files free please"

    I really find it a shame to pay €4.99 to create files in order to keep my mailbox tidy. A classic user like me does not use other functions than those of a classic mailbox, so I think we should review the offer for basic accounts by integrating the creation of folders for free.   3. Stop advertising recovery options as 'Security'

    Just got another mail to add recovery options to my account in order to increase 'security' or 'safety'. I don't know in which dimension adding another attack vector to the account increases account security in any way. Yes, regular users forget passwords but that doesn't mean you have to advocate for watering down account security on a mass scale, because:

    • users who usually forget their passwords also squander around with recovery keys
    • users who use other means of recovery (additional e-mail accounts and so on), also usually have bad account security for those recovery methods.

    I would appreciate a family plan that also includes Lumo+. Currently, I need a family plan plus four Lumo+ subscriptions to cover all of us, which exceeds my budget. Ideally, I am looking for an all-in-one family plan.

  5. Passwordless login using hardware key / passkey only

    Enable the user to use a FIDO2 hardware key or an iOS or Android biometric passkey as the sole login method for users that desire it. It would be for all Proton services, in my case mail, drive and pass.

    I would like to eliminate using passwords altogether and solely rely on a passkey in my iOS Passwords app OR my Feitian FIDO2 hardware key with fingerprint sensor.

    Requiring multiple keys would be a way to help prevent users from locking themselves out.

    1password is currently in beta with passwordless login and google already supports it.

  6. ideas to make Lumo+ worth it

    I think there are ways to make it worthwhile to fund permanent chats for free users. This is a major pain point because most people want their chat history to be permanent.

    My ideas:

    Personalize Lumo’s appearance. Some users form a bond with the AI they use, and Lumo is one of the few assistants that actually has a visual persona. Proton could turn this into a Lumo + feature, allowing users to change Lumo’s colour, add a collar, or dress it in outfits.

    Redo‑reply option. Not many users need this frequently, so it could be a premium‑only feature, or free…

  7. Allow password reset without losing all data

    Allow users to configure if they want data to be encrypted in case of a password reset.

    My data is not highly confidential or interesing to others. For me the risk of losing everything after a password reset is much higher than being compromised.

    So it would be great to be able to turn off the invalidation of the encryption keys in the event of a password reset.

    If an email is received via forwarding from a simple login alias, I want the ability to reply to the sender through the proton email web client without leaking my proton email address. Currently, email replies originate from my proton email. Emails received from a simple login forwarding alias should default to the simple login alias in the 'Sent From' field if I reply to the email.

    I'm getting confused how difficult it is to access the management of my account, to see for instance my subscription plan.
    I have received an e-mail tell me my plan has been renewed and there is a link to go to a dashboard to be able to cancel or adjust my plan.

  10. Take Advantage of Bitwarden Increasing Prices to Provide a Pass Plus Combo

    I'm a Proton Mail Plus user. I currently use Bitwarden Premium as my password manager. I recently got an email from Bitwarden informing me that they are going to double their price. My subscription there renews in March, so I thought this would be the best time to switch to Proton Pass. However, the features I need are only available on the Pass Plus plan.

    What did I try? To subscribe to Pass Plus in addition to my current Mail Plus plan. But it isn't allowed! It's either one Plus subscription OR the Unlimited plan.

  11. App-based MFA

    I like the way that Discord, Steam, Github, Apple, etc do their logins, which is by a phone app that prompts you with a notification and you have to enter the code that it says on the computer. This would be a really convenient way to log into Proton rather than having to use your phone for 2FA. Some of the apps I mentioned also do a qr code thing to log in which is super convenient as well.

    The Canary Islands are part of Spain, but not part of the EU VAT zone. Instead of VAT (IVA), the islands apply their own local indirect tax called IGIC – generally 7 %, and in many B2B cases 0 %.

    I love Proton’s encrypted email and want my extended family to use it, but most relatives only need a mailbox—not the full Proton suite. Paying for separate Mail Plus accounts or a bundled Family plan (which includes services we never use) is costly and cumbersome.   14. Paypal three instalments

    When using Proton VPN, after starting the payment process with PayPal, I cannot find the option to pay in three instalments, even though the amount to be paid is more than €30.
    In my opinion, Proton has not requested its activation. Yet, the total amount would be credited to them immediately.
    I have no technical or financial issues with PayPal.
    I would be happy to be proven wrong.
    I urge Proton to activate it.

  18. Enable adding new payment credit/debit cards in apps

    Currently when attempting to add new credit/debit cards, the process will fail if you are using the apps, but it will work if you sign in to the web portion of proton mail for instance. Enable the same functionality in the web apps, like proton mail.

    Allow to decide whether the recovery phrase can be used at any time or only after a certain period (relative or absolute). For example:
    - allow to recover the account with the recovery phrase after X months of inactivity;

    We could have a possibility to subscribe to a plan as many times as you want, having to renew on the exact day of expiration is very inconvenient, not everyone has the time or patience to check subscription all the time
