1. Allow a ProtonVPN Plus User to Simply Upgrade ONE of The Included (Free) ProtonPass, ProtonDrive, or ProtonMail but NOT ALL of them

   I bought ProtonVPN Plus for 24 months. It comes with Free, but Limited ProtonPass, ProtonDrive, and ProtonMail.

   I want to upgrade to ProtonPass Plus, but I don't have any use for ProtonDrive or ProtonMail. I have been heavily invested in other solutions for many years

   But I am told that my only option to get ProtonPass Plus is to upgrade ProtonVPN Plus to a much more expensive plan and get the upgraded ProtonDrive and ProtonMail as well which I do not need or want.

   But I see a different way. But DO I REALLY have no choice other than to create a completely new Proton Account just to get ProtonPass Plus without having to pay for things I do not want???

2. multi user plan in apple store

   Apple and google store don't support multi user i.e family plans not there is local pricing available, given some countries have restriction to send foreign currency is it posisble to get these plans in apple or Google play store so it is easier for people to subscribe, the single user plans are allready available.

4. Allow different display names for account vs email profiles

   In Mail I can create multiple profiles with different display names (e.g. test@pm.me shows “Jack”, test@protonmail.com shows “Jack Frost”). That’s super useful.

   But those names get pulled into my Proton account and other services (Drive, etc.). It would be great if the account could show a different display name or nickname without forcing the email profile names onto everything else.

   I’d prefer to use a nickname for my Proton account, while keeping my email profiles the way I configured them.

   Stripe ist ein in den USA ansässiges Unternehmen, und damit unterliegt es den dortigen gesetzlichen Zugriffsrechten staatlicher Stellen. Das bedeutet, dass Zahlungsdaten und Transaktionen potenziell dem Einfluss der US‑Regierung ausgesetzt sein können.

   Für ein Unternehmen, dessen Mission es ist, Menschen eine sichere und unabhängige Teilhabe im Internet zu ermöglichen, ist diese Abhängigkeit aus meiner Sicht ein Risiko. Zahlungsinfrastrukturen sollten möglichst souverän, datenschutzfreundlich und frei von externen politischen Zugriffsmöglichkeiten sein.

7. Proton for Business - Enforce Security Key 2FA Policies for Organization Users

   As more organizations move towards embracing physical security keys (e.g. Yubikey) for authentication security, please consider introducing policy controls at the organization administrator level to:

   (1) Enforce 2FA by security key for all users (specifically require security key 2FA to login, not just TOTP or other forms of 2FA in general).

   It is noted that a related request of "Allow security key 2FA without setting up OTP 2FA" is already in place here (https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/935538-accounts-payments/suggestions/48368117-allow-security-key-2fa-without-setting-up-otp-2fa).

   (2) Restrict user-account 2FA enrollment/deactivation/modification to organization admins only.

   Please allow the organization to determine whether users can make such privileged changes themselves, or whether all of this should be handled through an admin.

   As Proton does not seem to support FIDO2.1 enterprise attestation for security keys, and as we require security keys for login, we are handling all enrollment and modification of user-account security keys via org admin. However, there is nothing stopping users from removing their admin-registered security key to fall back to TOTP 2FA, or adding non-company-issued or otherwise non-compliant security keys (e.g. adding their own personal phone as a platform key). Limiting user-account 2FA setting changes to org admins can address this issue.

   (3) If neither of the above are feasible, please add support for open-standards SSO integration, such that the enterprise's own IAM policies can be enforced with Proton's services.

10. Balancing delete account now vs have time to review the destructive action

    There are tradeoffs between implement an action immediately compared to having time to review the action for security purposes.

    For example, deleting an account.

    Some people may want to delete the account immediately to remove any trace.

    Others may want to have some notice before the account is permanently deleted to prevent any malicious account deletion requests.

    Sending a notice about account deletion to recovery contacts and allowing some time to reverse or recover the account is appreciated. This will help protect against malicious account deletion and protect against mis-understandings.

12. Include just SOME of the paid Standard Notes features with Proton Unlimited

    Personally, I'd love to see the following paid Standard Notes features included with Proton Unlimited for free:
    -write and edit markdown and rich text, checklists, code snippets, and more with the powerful Super note type
    -create spreadsheets with advanced formulas and rich formatting
    -use the web clipper to save web pages as notes

    I understand maybe there are contractual or financial reasons Proton can't make the ENTIRE $120 Standard Notes Professional plan included with the Proton Unlimited Plan (which ironically is the same price). But the free version of Standard Notes is really pretty rudimentary, and I'm guessing 99% of us who aren't lottery winners don't want to double our Proton subscription for tons of other Standard Notes features mostly useful to professional journalists.

    But those 3 features above I think would really enhance the usefulness of Standard Notes to Proton Unlimited subscribers, while still maintaining extra value for journalists and others who can justify spending more for the extra features.

    Perhaps it would be easier to make a 4th Standard Notes Tier (in addition to Free, Productivity, and Professional) called "Value" or something, and you could charge $20 for it, but then include that with Proton Unlimited. Just my two cents. I hope you'll consider it.

13. Delayed monitor log deletion with Optional password

    Feature request:

    Optional separate password protection for wiping security monitor logs.

    The password is paired with allowing a user to set a configurable delayed deletion with options of 1, 2 or 3 months. On confirming the logs are to be wiped you must wait for the delay to elapse.

    If a user wants to remove the password or change it along with the log protections a predetermined set delay will need to elapse before anything can be altered. A small window of 24 hours or more can be allowed incase the user changes their mind about the password they have chosen or protecting the logs. After the window has elapsed, changes to the password or removal of the wipe protection will require the same delay that a wipe would.

    A countdown with the remaining time can be next to the wipe button for additional clarity.

    The time that log protections are enabled should be an event that is noted in the monitor logs

    The monitor logs are very vulnerable in the event of an account becoming compromised. I imagine a situation of a compromised account where someone has gained access, and now has the ability to wipe the monitor logs to remove evidence. Although an event is made of the wipe, you lose valuable data like: Device, IP, Location and timestamps. These are essential pieces of information, especially if a police report were to be made in this scenario or a thorough assessment is required.

    With a compromised account comes the risks of
    Financial fraud
    Identity theft or impersonation
    Compromise of third-party accounts
    Exposure of sensitive business or client data

    Additionally knowing that accounts will inevitably be compromised it would be a great for so many users, personal and business/company related accounts alike.
    Why this is significant is because security logs are often the only reliable source of evidence after a breach. Without them users cannot fully understand what happened, Incident response is weakened and Law enforcement investigations are hindered severely.

    In the business plan on the end of users who are under an organisation, much of the audit logs/monitor logs are immutable and therefore in the case of a compromised account, data is still available for a thorough assessment. The idea of data being immutable has been thought of before by the proton team and I hope that a personal account can have some of the same protections.

    I'm aware proton is privacy focused and my feature request has been centered around allowing the user an option to protect their security logs whilst still taking the ability of deletion into consideration.

16. Modular bundles for PLUS users

    Hi, I love your services! I'm currently using Proton Mail Plus and I'd like to suggest a "Modular Bundle" system.

    It would be amazing if we could pick and choose additional services (like Proton Pass) and add them to our existing Plus plan with a loyalty discount (e.g. 40%). Currently, the jump to the Unlimited plan is quite big if someone only needs two specific services.

    Allowing us to customize our plans would be a game-changer for the community!

17. Ticket, Testphase und einfacherer Support

    Ich habe den kostenlosen Accout getestet und möchte nun unlimited testen. Noch nicht abonnieren. Ich finde es befremdlich, dass der ganze Support auf englisch ist. Auch weil es ein Schweizer Unternehmen ist. Es ist für mich befremdlich, dass es kein Ticketsystem gibt, wo mir geholfen wird. Diese Lösung hier ist für ein Unternehmen ressourcensparend, aber wenig Userfreundlich, weil umständlich. Primäre Frage war: Ich möchte meinen kostenlosen account auf unlimited upgraden um ihn kostenlos 8 Tage zu testen. Geht das?
