Add users-Family Plan-Shared Plan
Ability to add users to your individual paid account and manage them like business accounts with each one having their own login. But limits(I.e. storage, aliases, VPN) are shared between all accounts instead of each new account getting additional limits. Admin can move/allocate limits between accounts under the main account/plan.
Each additional user would add $1-$2 each.

If an email is received via forwarding from a simple login alias, I want the ability to reply to the sender through the proton email web client without leaking my proton email address. Currently, email replies originate from my proton email. Emails received from a simple login forwarding alias should default to the simple login alias in the 'Sent From' field if I reply to the email.12 votes -
Option to check Security Phrase
Right now we can only generate new Recovery Phrase.
It would be very helpful to have an option to check the Recovery Phrase.This way we will be able to check if the noted phrase is saved correctly, and we can also check the phrase from time to time without having to reset it and backup it again.

Automatically re-enable other email addresses when premium account is reinstated
Just had a very frustrating experience not receiving emails because I had a small lapse in membership and many of my email addressees remained disabled.

Payment Plans for Individual Proton Servics (a la carte)
It would be nice to have the option to only pay for the Proton services you want/use. I've been using a free Proton account for years with the desire to contribute, but my financial situation hasn't allowed for this. I'm just now to the point where I could pay a couple of dollars for Proton services, and would particularly benefit from an upgraded Proton Calendar. Unfortunately, this is only available in the Proton Unlimited, which is $10USD per month even when committing to a full year. This seems quite pricy when I just want a less restricted calendar. Proton Mail Lite Plan - $10/year
Many users, like myself, don’t require the full Mail Plus subscription but still want a reliable, privacy focused email experience. For casual users who primarily receive emails, a Lite Plan could be the perfect fit.
Including an additional pm.me address or at least access to Proton Bridge would add significant value. A simple pricing model, such as $1/month or $10/year, would make this plan accessible to a wide range of users, encouraging more people to adopt Proton Mail while keeping it affordable.

Recovery phrases shouldn't be instant access – A safer alternative: recovery phrase + delayed access
First of all, I don’t see the real value of the current recovery phrase. If someone securely stores their master password and TOTP seed, those already provide full access to the account – just like a recovery phrase does. So what’s the actual benefit of having a separate recovery phrase in this setup?
Sure, I understand that a recovery phrase that bypasses 2FA is more convenient, but from a security standpoint, it's essentially the same as handing over full access – there's no meaningful distinction.

allow for a fee to upgrade to extra domains for the unlimited plan. I'd willing pay a small extra fee just to be able to come here instead of my now FREE google account where I have 5 domains.
I might get more in the future but 3 is just simply too little :(

Passwordless login using hardware key / passkey only
Enable the user to use a FIDO2 hardware key or an iOS or Android biometric passkey as the sole login method for users that desire it. It would be for all Proton services, in my case mail, drive and pass.
I would like to eliminate using passwords altogether and solely rely on a passkey in my iOS Passwords app OR my Feitian FIDO2 hardware key with fingerprint sensor.
Requiring multiple keys would be a way to help prevent users from locking themselves out.
1password is currently in beta with passwordless login and google already supports it.

Make Proton Mail optional or more functional for Proton Pass & SimpleLogin user
I purchased the lifetime plan primarily for Proton Pass and SimpleLogin. However, I’ve noticed that using a Proton Mail account is currently required to log into these services.
If Proton Mail is going to remain a mandatory part of the login system, I would appreciate it if the account came with more practical functionality—such as email forwarding, around 10GB of mailbox storage, and access to Proton Mail Bridge.
At the moment, the Proton Mail account feels somewhat underutilized and doesn’t offer much value for my use case.
If providing these features isn’t feasible, I would kindly suggest reconsidering the requirement…

J'ai choisi un abonnement sur 2 ans et il m'arrive systématiquement d'oublier que celui-ci arrive à expiration. Résultat, je suis prélevée d'une somme conséquente sans avoir pu prendre mes dispositions ni organiser mes dépenses. Il serait hautement souhaitable que vous préveniez du prochain prélèvement suffisamment à l'avance, un mois par exemple. Je ne comprends pas que cela ne soit pas prévu depuis le départ.

Personally, I'd love to see the following paid Standard Notes features included with Proton Unlimited for free:
-write and edit markdown and rich text, checklists, code snippets, and more with the powerful Super note type
-create spreadsheets with advanced formulas and rich formatting

Easier Management of Multiple Proton Accounts (with Admin/Billing Role)
As a small business owner, I often manage multiple Proton accounts – for example, one for personal use and others for different projects or clients. While Proton is already a great tool, handling multiple accounts could be made a lot more convenient.
What would help:
The ability to link and switch between multiple Proton accounts within the same interface, without constantly logging in and out.
An option to set different billing addresses and email contacts per account. This would be especially useful when managing subscriptions for multiple businesses or teams.
A centralized view where I can see all active subscriptions…

Sign in to the account with email aliases
I would like us to be able to choose the emails (main account email and email alias) that can be used to authenticate on the account. Currently it is possible to authenticate with all emails, principal and alias, this can induce a security risk by multiplying the connection possibilities.
